A week later, the class of first years stood gathered around their teacher at the train station nearest the school.

"Everyone got their costumes? Wearing them in public is prohibited, but don't lose them," Aizawa spoke up, ignoring the stares from passersby aweing at the bunch of hero students.

"Yessir!" Mina shouted happily, only to sulk once Aizawa scolded her pronunciation.

"All of you, be on your best behavior," Aizawa reminded them, "Now go."

Naoko stood between Bakugo and Kirishima, the latter telling Tokoyami the way to Kyushu as Hagakure cheered nearby about how fun the internships will be.

"I still don't get why the fuck you're going-"

"Me neither," Naoko interrupted Bakugo, looking at the crowds that surrounded them.

Suddenly, Shoto grabbed Naoko by her hand, pulling her toward their train once he found the signs pointing to it. Naoko followed along, but made sure to turn around as she walked, calling out to her friends.

"Baku! You got this! Kiri! Have fun!"

The girl turned around before she could see their reactions, Kirishima grinning happily with his elbow resting on Bakugo's shoulder, as Bakugo watched her leave.

Naoko and Shoto sat next to each other on the bullet train, Shoto giving her the window seat so he sat on the aisle. After just a few minutes, Shoto already began drifting off, so Naoko let him lean on her shoulder, cushioned by her jacket and scarf.

As Shoto rested with no stress, Naoko couldn't help but worry about the internship.

She hadn't even seen Endeavor since the night he tried to prove to her she was too weak to be a hero-- He was always at his agency or on patrol, and on the off chance he was home, Naoko was hiding out in her room or sneaking out of her window.

Naoko knew there was zero chance of Endeavor having realized her strength, but still, Shoto convinced her to come to the agency for the experience. After all, no matter how big a pile of shit the man was, he was still the No.2 hero.

As unfair as it was.

It didn't take too long to reach Hosu, meaning Shoto's nap was cut off sooner than he'd hoped. The twins exited the train slowly, not too excited to arrive at the agency.

Once they came up on the massive building after a mostly quiet walk, Naoko couldn't help but roll her eyes at its flashiness. The building was tall enough that she needed to crane her head back and still couldn't see the top. The sides were filled with windows, each reflecting the cityscape of Hosu as well as the bright blue sky. A bold and fancy 'E,' was held up proudly over the front entrance, the letter decorated with flame-like designs.
