THE BET

Jimin was confused. So confused.

"What was the bet all about again?" this time, It was Jeongguk's voice. Jimin got closer on the door, waiting for everyone to answer.

"Dude, The bet, the thing we talked about, the thing that if you succesfully make that Kim Taehyung fall inlove with you, we'll help you with your crush, Yugyeom."

Jimin's eyes widened as tears started to form on his eyes. 'They fooled my bestfriend.'

As silence took over, surprisingly, the door opened and it was Hoseok. He and Jimin got an eye contact. Jimin's eyes was watery and the keys fell on his grip. "Hoseok? Why are you just standing there like you've seen a ghost?"

Yoongi stood up and opened the door widely, As everyone's eyes darted on the door, their eyes grew bigger. 'No this can't be happening.'

"Jimin?"

Yoongi looked at Jimin and about to hold his hands when Jimin pointed his finger infront of Yoongi's face, his tears scrolling down on his cheeks. "J-Jimi— Shut up! I don't want to hear anything coming from you!" Jimin shouted.

Everyone stood up as Jimin went inside the room. Jeongguk's eyes widened. "J-Jimin.. I—" Jimin bit his lowerlip and slapped Jeongguk that made everyone stopped. Hoseok holds Jimin but he pushes away. "Don't fucking touch me! I thought I can trust all of you!" Jimin cried.

He looked at Jeongguk. "This is your plan? When is your plan ends? Tell it to Taehyung, or else I'll do it by myself!" He yelled and opened his phone. "Call him." Jimin said that made Jeongguk hold on his phone tighty. "Jimin calm—"

Jimin raised his hands and curled it, signing for a silence. "Call him now!" Jimin cried and looked at Jeongguk. "Jimin, I can't!" Jeongguk talked back that made Jimin scoffed. "You can't? Why? Your bet isn't done?" Jimin yelled.

Jeongguk didn't answered and looked down, trying his best not to have a eye contact with Jimin. "I told you don't hurt him! I said I'm going to give myself for you to hurt! You don't need to do that to my bestfriend!" Jimin cried.

"You don't know how much he loves you and now, afterall, you'll do this to Taehyung?"

Jimin bit his lowerlip, "Now I get it, that all of the sudden, you came by clinging to Taehyung, I always wondered if you have a true feelings on him. I always wondered what do you need from him, And now, I know it. This is just a bet. Now end it." Jimin said coldly looking on him.

"I can't end it Jimin." Jeongguk whispered.

"Why? Are you not contented from what's happening? Do it! You started it first now end it." Jimin said and took his collar. "I said fucking end it, Jeongguk!" Jimin said but Jeongguk didn't answered. Jimin took a deep breath. "Fine, you don't want to end it? I'll end it."

Jimin was about to leave when he heard sobs, he looked back and met Jeongguk's eyes, pleasing eyes, kneeling down. "Hyung.. I'm begging you.. Don't tell him.." Jeongguk cried.

Jeongguk tilt his head down and cried. Jimin bit his lowerlip. He can't be selfish. He ignored the crying Jeongguk and dialed someone's number. "Hello? Is Taehyung there? Wake him up." After that call, Jeongguk cried loudly.

"Hyung.. Don't do this to me. I love him."

Jimin scoffed and looked at Seokjin, Namjoon, Hoseok and his boyfriend, Yoongi. "I have no words to say. Leave us alone." Jimin said and left. Jeongguk lost his hope and cried, he bought his legs closer on his chest and uttured,

"I'm so fucking dumb."

Yoongi looked at Seokjin and sighed. "Jeongguk, let's go home. Take a rest, atleast explain your side." Hoseok said softly. "I don't wanna go home, Taehyung will be mad at me t-then.. H-he'll leave me.." Jeongguk whispered.
