My phone started to go off while I was sleeping.
"Ughhh", I picked up my phone and saw a text from Josh.
J: good morning love😘, i don't have practice today and tonight is the night of the biggest party thrown by Leo, who is the most popular kid in school and who is rich. He invited everyone. And it starts at 4:30. U wanna come?
He was such a sweetheart
M: of course 😘
J: ok then, I'll pick u up at 4, love u babe
M: love u too!
Wow, to be honest, I miss the parties I used to go to back in SC. I couldn't wait for tonight!
I sat up and I brushed my teeth and then went downstairs. I could smell the bacon, toast with butter, and eggs. YUM!
"Hey mom"
"Hey honey. Sit down and I'll get your breakfast read-", she gasped, "madison, your hair?! When did you get it done?"
"Surprise?!", trying to smile hoping I wouldn't get it trouble.
"Madison Dent?! Why didn't you ask me before you dyed your hair??!"
"Sorry mom"
"You should always ask me before your do anything!", she sounded pissed, " but It does suit you very well", suddenly not mad and nodding her head.
"Bipolar much?", I laughed, "and thanks"
I sat down at the kitchen table. Mom brought me my breakfast and sat down with hers.
"So, any plans today?", she asked
"Well, Josh is gonna pick me up at 4 and take me to a party. Besides that, nothing else."
"Oh ok, well today I'm going to go have lunch with a friend and we will just hang out", she told me
"Wait with who?", I said wanting to know who it was
"Well, just a teacher at my school.", she said trying to hide something
"It's a guy! Your going on a date!? Right??", I screamed joyfully
"Maybe" she blushed "now sit down and eat madison!"
"Sorry" I sat down, "but Awww ur going on a date!!"
"Yes Madison but I'm gonna go buy some groceries and get ready for the date. You do whatever you want but just tell me what ur gonna do if it's gonna be anything crazy" she gave me the "don't do anything crazy" mom face.
I laughed, "got it mom" I put my plate in the dish and went upstairs.
I decided to watch some Netflix and then I got a text from Chloe.
C: hey gurl! R u going to the party tonight?
M: yea! Josh is taking me
C: Awww, well I'll see u there gurl!
M: yup and R u free? Wanna come over and we can hang out and we can get ready together?
C: sure gurl! But Mike is gonna have to pick me up at ur house Bc he's taking me
M: what?! Ur dating mike??
C: well it's complicated. I'll tell u when I get over. I'm on my wAy!
M: Kk!
