When the bell rang for everyone to go home, I quickly went outside to get into my mothers car,trying to avoid Josh. I really don't know why but I just feel weird and a little pissed that when I'm around him, those girls always give me the evil eyes and mess with me.
"Hey Madison, wait up!", I hear Josh.
"Oh hey" I said turning around hoping that those mean girls weren't around. I started to look around to make sure.
"Hey, who are you trying to find?"
"Oh nothing" faking a smile.
"Do you want to get something to eat?", he asked.
"I cant today.", I tried saying because I really wanted to go, " how bout tomorrow?"
"Yea that's fine babe." ,Giving me a big smile, "Well I guess that's your mother?" He said.
"Oh yea, how'd you know?"
"I mean she was just smiling at you." , he said it all smart.
"Oh haha, I'll see you tomorrow", giving him my best smile.
"Bye babe.", Josh said giving me a kiss on my forehead.
When I got into the car, my mom immediately asked, "well who was that?", all happy and I know wanting me to say my new boyfriend.
"Oh, just a good friend.", I said casually.
"Oh really? Come on, I know it's your boyfriend!" , like she was begging me to tell her.
"Oh ok ok, he's my new boyfriend."
"He seems like a good guy.", giving me a huge smile, " at least you've moved on from Chad. Now what's his name honey?"
"It's Josh. Josh Marten.", I said giving her a huge smile. I am actually really happy that he asked me out. He's a sweet guy inside.
"Oh, nice name honey."
"Yeah mom, well you don't have to pick me up tomorrow because Josh said he wants to go get food with me."
"Of course! You two go on your date.", mom said teasing me.
"Haha funny", I said sarcastically. "He's a great guy."
"Looks who in lovvvee!!" She teased me again.
"stop mom!", I said trying to sound mad but couldn't help it but laughed.
When we got home, I went up stairs and began doing my homework. Out of the blue, I got a text. A text from Chad...
