Chapter 8: Oh no

The next day at school he came up to me.
Crap, crap, crap!! I tried to walk away. I don't know what to say to him, ugh this is so frustrating. How do I tell him how I feel about him.

"Madison!", Josh called.

"Yes?", I turned around awkwardly.

"So...", he asked.

I said, "Look, I...", breathing heavily, "I like you too." Giving him a smile.

I've thought about it a lot last night, he's not that bad. He's actually really sweet. I guess I actually liked him from the start and just didn't know.

"Really?!", he said sounding excited.

"Yea"

"So wanna be my girlfriend?", giving me a huge smile.

"Sure", smiling.

Then he quickly went in for a huge hug. I felt a huge smile on my face. I've haven't been this happy since we've moved here.

"Let's go to class Josh. Imma be late."

"Course babe.", winking at me.

After 2nd block, I was walking to lunch and some people nock into me.
I looked up and saw the mean girls. Crap.

"Oops, sorry.", they said giggling.

"Whatever.", rolling my eyes as I pick up my things.

"Don't roll your eyes at me!", the lead bitch said. "Oh and stay away from Josh. He's mine." And they walked away.

I quickly walked to lunch just trying to forget what happened.

"Hey Madison!", Josh came to me in the cafeteria.

"You look happy" trying to give a big smile while thinking bout the mean girls.

"And you don't look happy babe. What's wrong?", giving me a sad face.

I giggled, "nothing."

"Hey do you want to come eat with my friends?", he asked.

I looked at his tables and see the mean girls giving me the evil eye.

"No thanks. I kinda want to talk to Chloe."

"Ok babe. Have fun", he gave me a quick kiss on the forehead.

I went to Chloe and my other friends.

"Hey guys!"

"Heyyyy", my friends said.

"What's up with you and Josh?", Chloe asked me.

"Oh nothing. He asked me me out and I said yes.", I said.

"AWWWW that's so cute! I knew he liked you!" All of my friends said.
