Chapter 25: Mixed Feelings

*After school

"So, those cheerleader bitches were making fun of me and call me a slut. They just kept threatening me and wouldn't leave me alone. Josh was just standing there coldly and did nothing." I told Chloe.

"That boy." Giving me the death stare.

"I couldn't hold it in anymore and cried. I ran to the cafeteria and on my way and ran into him. He helped me get away from Josh and his friends. Later that day, he came over and I told him the Josh story. He understood and then he asked me if I wanted to work with him for the English play project." I said.

"Uh huh." She said.

"We worked on it and decided to make it about teenage love." I smiled.

"This is the cute part I'm guessing." She squeals in excitement.

"We wrote almost the whole play and we decided to practice it. We acted it out but at the end instead of saying his line, he held my hand and he said "I need to ask you something. Will you be my girlfriend?" I was surprised. In love. And I said yes." I smiled.

"Omg, that's so cute!!" She was so happy. "I told you you would get over Josh soon. Luke is so much better. He's the guy for you."

"Yeah." I said. I really like Luke. He's amazing, sweet, and everything I could imagine. But theirs something about Josh I can't let go. I have no idea what it is.

"Madison, Madison." Chloe was shaking me.

"Oh, yea." I said.

"You just all of a sudden zoned out. What were you thinking bout?" She asked.

"Oh nothing important. Just school." I lied. I'm just not ready to tell anyone. But i will tell her soon. Or maybe I will just get over my mixed feelings.
