"Hi mom." I said to her when I got inside. She was cooking steak for dinner.
"Hey darling, how was your date with Luke?" She asked.
"It was great. I loved it." I smiled, "and I see your making steak?" I was getting excited. I love steak.
"Yep, your favorite food. And it's for an special occasion." She smiled while making the food.
"What is it?" I asked I couriousily.
"Well, today at work my boss told me that starting next week, I can start being the assistant principle!" She jumped up and down.
"Congrats mom, I knew you do it." I smiled. My mom is a great mom who works hard, loves me, and dedicates everything to me. She's my mom AND my dad. People say it's not the same without a dad. I say it's even better because I have the worlds greatest mom.
"Imma go upstairs quickly." I said.
"Ok" she said.
I decided to text Chloe.
M: hey Chloe
C: hey girl
M: I'm bored and was just thinking and wondering how you and Mike are?
C: great, he actually asked me out :)
M: AND YOU DIDNT TELL ME?
C: sorry, I forgot. Besides your too busy hanging with Luke.
M: true, can you come over now and you can eat with us and then we could talk bout it.
C: sounds good, I'm coming over!
I went down stairs to see my mom.
"Hey mom, can Chloe come over right now to eat with us and we can hang out since it's only like 6?" I asked.
"Yeah, of course. Good thing I brought some extra steak too cook. " She smiled. Wow, she's in a very good mood.
"Good because I already invited her." I laughed and she did too.
I just talked to her and waited for Chloe too come. We had a good time, it's been a while since we've really talked to each other.
