Chapter 20: Girl talk

*ding ding

"Oh Chloe is here." I said to mom.

I went and opened the door for her, "hey" I said to her.

"Hey girl" she smiled, "hi mrs. Dent."

"Hey honey" my mom smiled at Chloe, "you girls can go upstairs and hangout for bout 15 mins then it will be dinner time."

"K mom." I said and we went upstairs. Chloe sat on my chair and I sat on my bed.

"So, tell me all about it!" I said.

"Well, so he asked me to have dinner with him yesterday eat right after I told you that he hasn't asked me out yet. We went Ruby Tuesday." She smiled.

"Ruby Tuesday." I said.

"Yea, is there a problem?" She was concerned.

"No, of course not." I said. Maybe because it just reminded me of Me and Josh's date. But who cares, it wasn't even that good.

"Anyways, we had dinner and we really bonded. At the end of it, he took me hand and held it. It was sssoooo cute! And he took me home and we had our first kiss in his car. Afterwards he took me to the front door. It was pretty much like that!" She had a huge smile on her face.

I tried to smile. The kiss in the car? Just like my date with Josh. Why is everything similar to my and Josh's first date?

"Sounds great! And he totally lovesss you!" I teased her and tried to get Josh's and mines first date.

"And so does Luke." She nudged me with her elbow, "oh, tell me bout y'all's date!" She said.

"Ok!" And I told her the whole date all the way to the kiss. She was "aw"ing and "oh"ing the whole time.

"So that's it. Pretty cute huh?" I asked.

"So cute! But he should ask you out tomorrow." She said.

"I hope so. I like him." I said.

"And he likes you too!" She smiled, "but bruh, Chad is a creepy stalker. I feel bad for you because he have to deal with that little piece of bullshit." She said.

I laughed, "but Luke makes it all better."

"Have you talked to Josh since tall broke up?", she asked and everything got awkward and sad, "I'm so sorry. I should have not asked." She was sorry.

"No, it's cool. I've gotten over him quicker than I thought anyways. But I knocked into one of his cheerleader friends and she made this stupid dramatic scene and stuff and then he told his friend to not talk to me because I was a waste of time. I mean if I'm a waste of time, why did he ask me out in the first place. I honestly didn't have any interest in him at first." I said. I could feel a little pain because I knew I was lying. I really liked him but now he's just being a bitch and he wouldn't listen to me. He's just missing out on all the fun.

"You tell him girl." We both laughed.

"Time for dinner!" Mom called.

"Coming" I yelled back.

We went down stairs and had dinner. We talked about everything there was too talk about. Chloe is like family too us. She has helped me through a lot. We had a great time. The time that I miss having since the day my dad left me.
