For the next few days, I was unsure if I had made the right decision to let my dad visit me. I mean in the end he is my father. When I told Luke, leaving out my dad cheated on my mom for 7 years, he seemed ok with it. He said that it would be a good time to bond with him and my sister (half sister I guess I'll say). And Chloe said the same.
I mean I guess I'm excited to have someone only a year younger to hang out. But she exists because my father cheated on my mom. I'm still half and half but I want to keep an open mind.
The day before they would arrive, I asked my mother if I could invite Chloe and Luke over to meet them. My mom thought it "would be a little strange to have them over on the first day." But I said "I the 2 most important people in my life, besides you of course mom, to come and meet them." "Fine.", she breathed out heavily. That convinced her.

The day my dad and sister was coming, my mom brought a lot of groceries and made there favorite foods so they could feel welcome.
Chloe, Luke, and I tried to help my mom but we really just made things worse. Chloe accidentally cut her finger (a small cut only, don't worry), Luke didn't know how to do anything in the kitchen, and I kept talking. My mom just asked us to go upstairs and hang out. After a about an hour, someone rang the bell.
I could feel my heart pounding. I was nervous to meet them. We ran downstairs and my mom and I got the door.
"Jim.", my mom tried to smile.
"Carrie.", he smiled back. (A/N: woah, just noticed that this was the first time you heard Madison's moms name.) "this is Kaylee." He pointed to a girl with brown hair, brown eyes, stunning tan skin, great makeup skills, and about my height.
"Hi.", she smiled. She had a really sweet voice.
"Hi" Chloe, Luke, and I said.
"Jim, this is Madison.", my mom smiled.
"Madison, hello! I haven't seen you in a while, you've grown up so much!", he gave me a hug.
"Hi.", I smiled trying to make things awkward. "This is Luke and Chloe." I pointed to them and they seems alittle awkward.
"Hello.", they said.
"Hi I'm Kaylee, as your mom introduced.", she laughs, "I'm so glad to get to hang out with you, I've always wanted a sister!", she hugged me.
"Well let me show you your rooms and we can have some dinner.", my mom said and showed them upstairs.
"She's isn't too bad. She seems nice.", Chloe said.
"Yeah, everything is going well.", Luke said and gave a hug.
When they came down, we all sat down and had spaghetti for dinner.
"Oh, wow. Your spaghetti is just like how I remember it.", Jim said.
"It's really good!", Kaylee said. "So how's school for you?"
"It's good. What about you?", I asked.
"Well, I just got done with school a few days ago. School was good.", she smiled and seemed so happy.
"That's good.", I smiled. She's seems like a sweet girl. I honestly am kind of excited to hang out with her. Maybe this wouldn't be so bad after all.
