Chapter 19

Right after Kiyotaka entered the house, he called out, "Mondo!" He had made up his mind that he was going to tell Mondo how he felt right now.

Mondo quickly peeked his head from the kitchen. After that, he walked over to Kiyotaka. Before he could ask anything, Kiyotaka said, "I have something to tell you…"

"What is it?" Mondo looked nervous. His eyes were blue.

"I lo-"

Knock Knock Knock!

"O-oh. Excuse me. I need to answer the door first." Darnit.

He turned around and opened the door a bit. He peeked through the gap to see who it was.

Uh oh.

"Hey, kid! Sorry to bother ya but you left your wallet back at the table. Thought you'd want it back," Daiya said as he held up an object that was in fact Kiyotaka's wallet.

Daiya saw a man looming behind Kiyotaka, "And is that your roommate there?" he asked with a smirk while pointing at the man behind him, "Wow, he looks kinda like me."

Feeling Mondo's presence behind him, Kiyotaka gulped before nervously saying "Thank you Daiya but I think you should-" he cut himself off when a hand shot up behind him and pulled Daiya in by the collar.

"Ghk!-" Mondo slammed the actor against the nearest wall, "WHAT THE HELL ARE YA DOING HERE?!" he yelled.

Kiyotaka dropped his wallet onto the ground, "Mondo! Don't hurt him!"

"H-hey. Calm down," Daiya nervously placed a hand on Mondo's wrist, "Look, if it's about Kiyotaka, I only confessed to him but he-"

"You fucking WHAT?!" Daiya's words had only served to make Mondo even angrier. Mondo raised one arm up, threatening to punch him.

"Stop it, Mondo!" Kiyotaka grabbed Mondo's raised arm.

Before he could react, Mondo pushed Kiyotaka to the other side of the room with the back of his forearm.

Realizing what he had done, Daiya was quickly dropped from Mondo's grasp. His anger was quickly replaced with guilt.  He ran over to where Kiyotaka was and left Daiya alone. The actor took the chance to run away.

"Kiyotaka. I'm sorry- Are you hurt?"

"I'm okay…"

Mondo reached out a hand to him but that made Kiyotaka flinch.

The brightness in Mondo's eyes dimmed, "You're scared of me.. aren't you?"

"H-Huh?"

"..You hate me, don't you?" Mondo stared down at Kiyotaka with his dark purple eyes.

"Mondo, I already told you that I would never hate you..."

"Oh, really?! Then why don't you ever admit that you love me, huh?!" he shouted.

"I was just going to say that I love you before Daiya came here, Mondo!" Kiyotaka shouted back.

Mondo seemed taken aback by the response. His irises flashed between various colours as he stayed frozen.

But then the colours stopped changing on red.

"I BET YOU'RE JUST SAYING THAT BECAUSE YOU'RE INTIMIDATED BY ME! YOU'RE SCARED OF WHAT I'M MIGHT DO!" Mondo shouted at an even louder volume.

Kiyotaka flinched at the volume. That alone convinced Mondo that Kiyotaka was in fact scared of him.

Suddenly, Mondo grabbed Kiyotaka's arm and stood up, forcing him to get up as well.
