"Emily, hi" Valentina-Rosa's voice catches my attention. It's been three eventful weeks since I've met her and I don't regret a minute I spend with her. She's so selfless and mature and honestly so fun to be around. She's that breath of fresh air that I needed in my life, she brings everything around her to life and I am honestly, platonically in love with her aura. She gives me that relief I only find when I'm cooking, she brings me peace. She makes me feel as if it is okay to not be okay; in fact, she told me that it is okay to not be okay, she said it makes no sense to try to be perfect all the time because that will only hurt me more in the end.

She has been in my life for three weeks and she has brought me the closest that I have come to opening up about what happened that night; Teresa tried so hard to crack me over the past year with all the things she has learned in her psychology classes and the only thing she did was crack me up, literally. I told her to switch majors because she wasn't learning shit but of course, I was only joking and she'll be an amazing psychologist and I know she knows that.

"Yeah, I'm okay, are you?" she speaks into her phone again to the person on the other line.

Valentina-Rosa's inability to keep her mouth shut made me realize that her friend Emily used to be my friend as well.

"That's good, are you free for lunch on Wednesday?" she asks as I pull out my phone.

"Pass me the remote crackhead" Carter plucks the remote from Aston's hand and Teresa smiles triumphantly.

We're all at Valentina-Rosa's for movie night; they wanted to go clubbing but thankfully they couldn't convince Valentina-Rosa to leave her house so now we're stuck in her apartment for a sleepover. The space is small but we're making it work.

Whenever we're like this, even before we met Alia, Aria, and Valentina-Rosa; Aston always hogs the remote and he always wants to watch "In Time'. It's a great movie I'll give it that but imagine watching it over and over for ten consecutive years, you eventually get tired of seeing Justin Timberlake and Amanda Seyfried running around.

"Girl, who cares what Carson thinks? I'll see you at 2 on Thursday" the name that leaves Valentina-Rosa's lips cause me to look up at her so fast I can't even pretend to understand how I'm not whiplashed.

I didn't even know they were still together.

Not a single day goes by that I don't think about Emily, she's the sweetest most loving person that I've ever met yet she has to suffer the way she is. Last I heard, she was pregnant but nobody has seen her with a child, whenever asked about her child she changes the subject. I heard from Kyle that she was supposed to have a daughter I do hope she's okay and that she looks more like her mother than she does her father. Kyle hasn't seen the baby and he says she refuses to talk about her; we had guessed that something happened between her and Carson and he took the baby but they're obviously still together so I don't know.

Emily and I are no longer friends and it is mostly my fault, I've been keeping something from her that I know that if I tell her, it'll shatter her; so, I've been keeping my distance, she used to reach out to me but she doesn't anymore and I understand. I mean you can't wait on a person to meet halfway forever, can you? At some point, you have to move on with your life. And I guess she did that.
