I walked into the empty movie store and went to the romance aisle.

I scan through the shelves looking for something to watch tonight.

"Hello? Can anyone help me find The Notebook?"

Wait... I recognized that voice.

Jackson Whittmore.

"Well, well, well, look who it is. Jackson Whittmore looking for The Notebook." I laugh in amusement, crossing my arms and he makes his way down my aisle.

"Hey, Skylar." Jackson rolls his eyes.

"Let me guess, Lydia doesn't want to watch a sports movie again?"

"No, I've watched The Notebook a hundred times with her I swear." Jackson groaned.

"Pick a new favorite then." I shrug.

"Wait- you're McCall's sister, right?" Jackson raised an eyebrow.

"One point for Jackson!" I laughed.

"Shut up." Jackson rolled his eyes as I giggle.

"Look, can you just help me find The Notebook so Lydia doesn't get pissed?"

"Fine, whatever. C'mon." I lead him down several aisles before I reached the one that had The Notebook.

I stop in my tracks as my eyes widened.

I spot a body with a pool of blood forming under it.

Oh my god is that a dead body??

Jackson and I both took a step forward and gasp as we saw a pool of blood around the body.

Jackson stumbled back into the ladder alarming the killer we were here.

Suddenly, all the lights turned off.

We're screwed.

We are so screwed.

Jackson quickly got up and we both started panting heavily.

What the hell do we do??

I turn to Jackson, only to see him staring back at me.

Suddenly we heard soft growling...

"Skylar," Jackson mumbled.

I turned around, only to be met with a pair of glowing red eyes.

The alpha.

I gasp and Jackson pulled me down next to him in the rows of DVDs.

Jackson leans out to look if it's still there.

"Do you see anything?" I whisper. Jackson just shakes his head.

Then we heard low growling.

Suddenly some of the DVDs fall on us and I try to ignore them.

That's when the shelves start to topple down, one by one.

Jackson tried to jump out while I on the other hand was nowhere near getting out.

The shelf fell on my head and everything went black.

I held an ice pack to my head as I sat next to Lydia in the back of an ambulance.

I look over the Jackson and boy was he pissed.

The cops were here.

I barely remember anything.

"Why the hell can't I just go home?" Jackson asked and I look up but winced in pain.

Stupid headache.

"I'm fine." Mr. Stilinksi, the Sheriff then walked over to us.

"I hear ya, but the EMT says you hit your head pretty hard. They just wanna make sure you and Skylar don't have a concussion."

"What part of 'I'm fine are you having problems grasping? Okay, I wanna go home." Jackson demanded.

"And I understand that."

"No, you don't understand. Which kind of blows my mind-" I block Jackson out when I see Stiles creep out of the Sheriff's car.

"Oh, whoa, is that a dead body?" Stiles speaks up but quickly shuts up as his father shoots a look at him.

"I told you before Stiles- I don't know what happened." I said as Stiles had entered my bedroom I had got the day off school that day.

Though I protested but my mom insisted.

"I know, I... I wasn't sure if you were lying to the police, but I need answers..." Stiles told me, I sat on my bed and sighed.

"Are you sure your fine though to go to Lydia's with me?"

"If I'm honest, Stiles, I don't want to go anymore." I told him.

I am not in the mood to see Stiles swoon over Lydia right now.

Stiles nodded softly.

"Okay, rest up, Sky," Stiles told me, I nodded, and he left.
