While led to their table, Geno cleared his throat, "Wow, uh... this place is a lot fancier than I was expecting."

"Well, I wanted to take you somewhere worthy of your time. It was hard enough getting a date with you in the first place." Reaper's response came with a smile and the action of him slipping behind the other and pulling out Geno's chair for him, gesturing for him to sit.

Geno- while flattered by the gesture- crossed his arms and prayed the faint blush dusting his cheek bones was less noticeable to Reaper than it was to himself. "I can sit down without your assistance."

"You know why they say chivalry is dead?" Reaper sighed and stepped aside, gliding past Geno to his own seat, "Because people like you act like romantic gestures have no impression on you."

"That so?" Geno took his place at the table and picked up the empty wine glass beside him, admiring the intricate patterns on the side.

"Yes, it is," The God of Death loosened his cloak around the collar and then picked up the two menus on the table, holding one out for Geno to take, "It isn't impressive. Acting like no one can impress you just makes people lose interest, but we both know you like the attention I give you."

A sly smile worked it's way onto Reaper's face as a stoic Geno snatched the menu rather aggressively.

"No response?" He cocked his head.

"Are you sure you can afford to eat here?" Geno looked up and met his eyes.

Reaper took a sharp inhale. "Sometimes I do like to fantasize about committing small acts of crime. But eating at a fancy restaurant and then making a break for it on the loudest motorbike you've ever heard may not be the greatest of dates."

"I asked whether you had enough money, not about your wildest dreams."

"Those are not my wildest dreams."

"What would those be, then?"

"Mostly getting in bed with you."

"Nice small talk." Geno gave him a mocking grin before rolling his eyes and opening his menu. "You can buy me a glass of red."

"Okay, two glasses of red then."

Geno scoffed. "If I recall, you despise red wine after the incident you had with my brother one night."

"I don't despise it. I just don't enjoy it."

"Oh, good, then order it. I'd like to see you suffer."

"How could I possibly suffer on a date with you?" Reaper winked at him, flipping the page of his menu, "Now, food... Wow, there's a lot of choice..."

"Hello, I'll be your waitress for tonight," A tall woman approached them with a notepad, "Are you ready to order some drinks?"

"We'll have a bottle of red wine, thank you." Geno spoke up quickly.

The waitress scribbled this information down and then nodded, smiling, "I'll be back to take your order shortly!"

As she left, Reaper chuckled. "You scared of me not ordering it for myself?"

"Perhaps."

"I think I might go with the sirloin steak and fries, I think it comes with a salad too." Reaper cleared his throat.

"That's one of the most expensive things on the menu.." Geno muttered. Though he thought he'd been talking to himself, it had come out a lot louder than he'd intended- not that he'd actually noticed Reaper had heard him. "I'll have the Caesar salad."
