"So we just wait?"

Dream shrugged. "What else can we do?"

Nightmare didn't reply.

"I'll be going into work tomorrow, I'll be able to keep an eye on Chara through my shift. Only problem is it starts at seven in the evening, so Jael would have to come to the hospital then." Dream informed them.

"Don't visiting hours stop after eight?" Ink asked from the corner of the room after another puff of his joint.

"Yeah, they do, but I doubt they'll let her in to see him yet anyway. And if they do, I'm not sure they'll be that fussy what time it is. Things are usually different on paediatrics, no one likes being told they can't see their child." Dream shrugged.

"Are you sure you're fit to go to work tomorrow?" Ink gestured at his hand.

"It'll be fine," Dream dismissed the question, "I can make it work."

"Maybe we should change those bandages now." Ink suggested.

"Yeah, but only if you put that out," Dream nodded at Ink's hand.

"Oh, uh... I'll just... throw it out the kitchen window. Come on." Ink left the room and Dream followed.

"Well... We should probably eat something." Nightmare coughed, looking in between Reaper and Error, "I'm surprised it wasn't you who mentioned it, Reaper."

Ignoring Nightmare's comment, Reaper turned to Error as he stood up, "Is there anything alcoholic left here?"

"I have no idea. There's no beer, but... there might be whiskey, I dunno." Error replied, stretching out across the sofa where Reaper had been and closing his eyes.

"How does pizza sound? Or anyone else got any other suggestions?" Nightmare called down the hall.

"Pizza's fine." Ink replied, and Dream also agreed. Reaper nodded, and Error said nothing.

"Error?" Nightmare walked over to him, "What pizza do you want?"

"I'm fine."

"You've eaten basically nothing the past few days." Nightmare frowned.

"Just not hungry."

"You need to eat, Error," Ink called from the kitchen.

"Since when have you cared about him?" Nightmare growled.

"Nightmare..." Error sighed, putting a hand to his forehead.

Ink said nothing, and Nightmare narrowed his eyes before sitting down on the floor in front of Error. He inhaled, about to ask Error about pizza again, but Error turned away, clearing showing his disinterest in the conversation. So instead of talking, Nightmare sighed, shaking his head.

"Maybe he just secretly doesn't like pizza anymore. Last time I ordered it for us he didn't even touch it either." Reaper suggested, as he walked back in with a glass of whiskey.

Nightmare winced. "I'm sorry Error, but if that's true... we can't be friends."

Error sat up. "I think I'm gonna go to bed if no one minds."

"Just wait a few minutes, we still haven't discussed what we're doing about Alpha." Nightmare said. Dream walked back in, followed by Ink. "Oh, God, don't start smoking again," The negative twin groaned.

Ink flipped him off, raising one to his mouth. "What is there to discuss?"

"Are you kidding?" Nightmare scoffed.
