"Uhh Dal, I-," Ponyboy backed away slowly.
"One," Dally counts down.
"Harry's cooler with us then-," Pony started.
"Five," Dally smiled.
"Wait, you skipped like three numbers!" I said.
"Exactly," Dally smirked and Ponyboy ran down the road.
As soon as Ponyboy is out of sight, Dally starts uncontrollably laughing. 
"You are an asshole, Dallas, " I giggled.
"Oh I know. C'mon," He said and stepped aside for me to come in. 
I walked inside and my Dad was cooking. He told us to wait in the sitting room while he finished making the dinner. 
"So... Are you guys like... Going steady?" Dally asks. 
"HAHHA DALLY YOU DID NOT JUST SAY 'GOING STEADY'," I laughed. 
"Yeah I regretted it the second I said it," he cringed. 
"Well yeah I suppose we're 'going steady'," I mocked him. 
"Well you know I'm a little pissed about t-" he started
"You call THAT a little!"I cut in. 
"Ok, you know I'm very pissed but to be honest... If I had to pick anyone in the gang for you to date... Ponyboywouldbemyfirstoption," he mumbled. 
"What? " I asked. 
"I mean that I'm happy that Ponyboy is your boyfriend and not Sodapop or Two-Bit," he chuckled.
"Ok thanks... I think... Just please don't frighten him again, " I laughed. 
"No promises," Dally smirked. 
Then my Dad Came in and announced that dinner was ready.

The Next Day

We agreed to meet at the Dingo around 5. 
I was waiting near the street corner when I saw Tim and Curly walking up towards me. 
"Hey y/n, you seen Dally?" Tim asked. 
"No. We're gonna be heading to the nightly double later, though. Why?" I asked. 
"Man, I know he slashed my tires again," Tim said angrily.
They started to walk away but Curly turned back. 
"Oh and be careful at that drive in. Wouldn't you to get hurt again," he winked and then followed his brother.
I rolled my eyes and waited at the steeet corner for them. 
Less than a minute later I saw 3 figures start walking in ny direction.
