First, we decided to make a quick stop at Coro's home to grab an extra bottle of oil for the road. When we arrived, he gave us his usual sales pitch, and he decided to fill up the empty bottle I had for twenty Rupees. When the purchase was made, I let out a small sigh as I knew Link and I were gonna have to get to Rupee-grinding at some point or another. As we completed our current task, we waved a friendly greeting towards Coro, and we finally left from under the wooden archway. I couldn't help but feel solemn as I walked through, old memories enshrouding my head.

I last came through this area when going away, back when I was only nine years old. It all seemed so far away now, but if you really thought about it, it wasn't too long ago... At that time, all I could remember was a lot of yelling, maybe some cursing, crying, and the sound of a horse-drawn cart heading off and crushing the grass below. I vaguely remember my father tearing up and actually crying at some point because of my outbursts of sorrow. I was supposed to be watching Colin that day, more so playing with him, but that never happened that day. I was ripped from everything with a snap. If only the Gods didn't allow that fate to happen, but maybe I wouldn't be on this adventure with Link today...

Shaking my head, I finally broke myself from my thoughts and Link was looking at me with a look of concern. "Ah, sorry, Link," I spoke, trying to brush it off. "I was just thinking..." When I said that, the male nodded his head and took the lead for now. Soon enough, we had finally arrived in Hyrule Field, greeted by a few of the familiar purple Bokoblins, which we cut down with ease. When the trees faded away, I let out a small sigh and put my hands on my hips. I couldn't help but admire the fields with a smile, furrowing my brows with confidence. "Now, this is what I'm talking about! Damn, I forgot how expansive Hyrule Field was," I chuckled as a grin appeared on my face and felt a few droplets of water upon my face in a shower. Looking over to Link, he gave a small smile and nodded in approval. That made me let out a chortle, allowing me to continue making our progress swift. The monsters that dotted the fields were quite funny-looking to me, at least. With their stick-like, spindly legs and short, circular, iron bodies and speedy reflexes. There were a few of those around, as well as birds and Bokoblins. However, though, the sun began to set again, followed by rain. This new fact caused me to sigh happily, smiling as I raised my head.

It was always true that I especially loved the rain. True, my hair and clothes would get wet, and mud would be made from the dirt, but I loved it. I could just feel Link looking at me, so I turned and stopped walking. "I can tell you're exhausted from your dungeon-crawling, so let's go ahead and find a place to sleep." The other seventeen-year-old nodded his head, and then we began to search for a temporary home for the night. We eventually came up upon a cave, beginning to walk over. However, we were stopped in our tracks when a voice caught our attention, "Heeeeeey!" When Link and I glanced around for a moment, he finally noticed a skinny young man running up to the both of us. His red and black cap with a tall red and white banner was his most prominent feature. The lanky male wore sandals and white coloring that had golden accent coloring. When the man finally arrived, that's when he began talking again.

"Go no further!" He yelled out, making a ruckus as night came in. "There is a black wall ahead that blocks the way! I thought I would deliver a few letters, but it seems impossible... I am the honorable and dependable letter carrier, known to some as... the postman." He revealed with a big grin on his face. I couldn't help but giggle at the Postman's hilarity, then covering my mouth politely. "Now that I have introduced myself," He began, "Please!" With that, the man handed Link and I both a red letter. "Take this letter and read it at your leisure! Do it whenever you see fit!" When his speech was completed, the postman began to run off. "Well, my business is concluded! Onward to mail~!" He grinned, leaving Link and I to exchange glances and then laugh afterward.
