The morning came rather quickly, chiefly in the fact of time, but our trip also came quickly to us. Thankfully, this was the Lanayru region, a region that I knew all too well. In this case, I was going to be the guide for Link as we went. However, we first had to leave Kakariko Village. Link and I both figured we'd eat as we made our way up north, so we just got up, got ready, and headed outside the inn. As we hopped up onto our horses, Link to Epona and me to Telli, we began to head off and out the village. However, before neither Link nor I began to gallop towards the gate, we heard the screams of the children in the village. "Wait! Link! ___!" Turning around and stopping our steeds, I turned my head to find all of the Ordon children looking at us with simpers on their faces. My heart once again felt light from seeing their faces, and I smiled merrily as I raised my arm and waved towards them. The rest of the children returned the gesture with a wave goodbye of their own, wishing us luck for whatever else was going to happen.

"Bye, you two! Good luck!"

"Give those nightmares the what for!"

"Goodbye, Link! Goodbye, ___!"

Malo didn't say a word, only waving half-heartedly with a dead expression. Turning my head around, I nodded to Link who turned around and started Epona off, speeding up before they vaulted over the gate. Telli soon followed, doing the same thing and then taking the lead from Epona and Link. Back into the green fields of Hyrule, I let out a sigh, allowing Telli to slow down. Then, there came the yelling of someone Link and I were all too familiar with: the postman!

"Mr. Link, Ms. ___! WAAAAAAIT!" The strong-willed runner made his way over with a smile, waving us down along the way. Epona and Telli stopped in their tracks, Epona's lips fluttering as the mare raised her head and shook it. "Greetings, Ms. ___ and Mr. Link! I have come to deliver a letter." At those words, the mailman dug into his backpack, grabbing the set of four letters and looking over it for a moment. "There is a letter for you both. Two letters, in fact!" He hummed, rounding to the side and handing me two, then going over to Link and handing him the final two. "Well," The postman began, waving as he began to jog off. "My business is concluded! Onward to mail~!" With that, he twisted around completely and ran off towards Kakariko Village. I lowered my head as I ushered Telli forward, Epona following afterward as I opened one of the letters. The first one read:

Closing the first letter, I put it into my bag and opened the second one, reading over it with a hum:
