Chapter 44

Stefania's POV

"Okay Papa I will talk to Danielle and think about it and let you know" I said through the phone after a very long phone call. "Everything okay" Danielle asked as I hung up and walked back into the kitchen "uh yeah everything is fine" I said brushing it off "What do you need to talk to me about" she asked "My dad he.. uh he is buying a hotel here in LA" I said "He wants me to run it" I admitted walking to the fridge and getting a glass on wine. "Oh how are you supposed to run a hotel and be an actor" she asked "I'm not" I said "What are you going to do" she asked "I really don't know, I love acting so much and I don't want to leave station 19 but if I ran the hotel I could create my own hours to work around you and the baby and it is a stable job and the money is really good enough to support all of us" I said "I don't want you to leave the job you love so much because of the baby and I, it has to be your choice Stefania or you are going to resent us" Danielle said "I know I think I have to say no" I said "Just think about it for a bit when does he want an answer" she asked "By next week" I said "So just think about it for a week, weigh the pros and the cons and then make a decision" she said. "We have a meeting with Krista on Monday right" I asked "Yeah at 9 before we start shooting" she said "Okay so do you want to invite Barrett and Jay over to tell them before hand or do you want to tell them after" I asked "Tomorrow I think they should know before Krista knows" she said.

Danielle's POV

"We are pregnant" I said "Wait what really" Jay said "Si really" Stefania confirmed "Are you serious I didn't even know you started trying again" Barrett said "We wanted to keep it our little secret for as long as we could, but we told our parents last night and we are telling Krista tomorrow morning and we wanted you to know before they did" I explained "Wow well congratulations, I can't believe it" Barrett said pulling us both into a hug followed by Jay "I love you both so much and I can't wait to meet this baby ahh" He said doing a little dance. "Where is Jaina did you invite her" Barrett asked "She actually already knows" I said "What" Jay asked "When I was 10 weeks I passed out shooting a scene with her and she came with me in the ambulance to the hospital, I had to tell the paramedic I was pregnant so they could check the baby was okay" I said "I'm sorry she found out before you and we asked her not to tell you guys because it was still very early" Stefania said "Don't apologies I am just surprised she was able to keep it a secret" Jay said "She just avoided you as much as she could" I said laughing "So how many weeks are you" Barrett asked "13 weeks" I said. We continued talking about the pregnancy, the wedding, the baby and what everyone thinks is going to happen to Maya when we tell Krista "I don't even want to think about it" I said "I don't think they will make Maya pregnant you might just shoot scenes from top part only" Jay said "Or they will send you away and then bring you back" Barrett said "We will sort that out later I suppose" Stefania said.

Stefania's POV

"Stefania, Danielle take a seat" Krista said inviting us into her office "I know Monday's are crazy busy so we are going to make this quick" I said "Okay" Krista said giving us a questioning look "I'm Pregnant, uhh coming up on 14 weeks" Danielle said "Oh wow um congratulations" Krista said very clearly shocked by the news "We wanted to give you some time before I properly start showing as something is going to have to happen with Maya" I said "Yeah that's fine I will sort something out" She said "Our families know and Barrett, Jaina and Jay but that is it for now so we would appreciate it if you didn't broadcast it to everyone as it is still early in the pregnancy" Danielle said "Of course I am going to have to tell the writers so they can come up with something but they will not tell anyone I will make sure of it" Krista said "Thankyou" Stefania said "That is all we have to tell you we need to get to make up so thank you for meeting with us and we will see you around" Danielle said standing up and leading us out of Krista's office. "That went well" I said "mhm yeah it did she will probably be blowing up about it though because they are going to have to change the story line slightly but that is life" Danielle said. "Have you given much thought to what your father said" Danielle asked as we were eating lunch "A little bit yeah" I said "care to fill me in" she said "I think I'm going to turn him down" I said "ok" she said "just ok" I questioned "If that is what you want to do baby" she said "you're allowed to have feelings about it also Danielle" I said "I have views from both sides of it" she said "I'm all ears any help right now would be great" I said.
