"You.. drugged me.."
Eun Woo managed to say as he wake up in a room where he was tied in a chair.

Angel mockingly smiles at him as if she did nothing wrong.

"Well atleast it's you that I drugged, not your mom."
She smirks.

"Don't ever touch her."

"I will not hurt her! I promise!"
She jumps on her chair and walks closer to him.
"Don't worry, babe. I won't hurt you either--"
She then stabs him in his legs.

"Fuck!"
Eun Woo shouts in pain.

"--not much."

"Get straight to the point, Angel."
He gasps in pain.
She did not bother him for the past week, he knew she's up to something.

"Police were investigating me, you know? One of this days they might call me for interrogation. My boat is sinking and I need your salvation."

"What are you planning to do?"

"I will use you to make Sage confess to Cassandra Yu's death."

"It was your doing? How could you kill a person?"
He asks, his heart was beating fast. She was a killer.

"and how could you lie to Sage if you knew she loved you truthfully?"
She laughs.
"You're no better than me, Lee Dong Min."

Eun Woo looks away.

"I will not save you, anymore. I've lost Sage. I can't--"
She cuts him off.

"So you really love her?"
She laughs.
"What a pity. You two were not meant to be together, though."

He does not care about their destiny though. She hates him.

"I'll give you a chance to call her for now and ask her to save you."

She unties one of his hands and gives him his phone.

"Five Minutes. I'll be back til then."

She locks the room and goes away.

Eun Woo looks at the phone and tries to call Sage. But her phone was out of reach.

He will protect her this time.

He doesn't want to die, he wants to enjoy his life and show Sage what he could do for her.
But this is the only way he could protect her.

He's not going to tell her that Angel got him captive like this.

"I'd rather die than to drag you into my mess again."

A tear slipped in his eye.

From the very first moment that she experienced despair, when everyone was judging her after Cassandra died, it was all his fault.

She became Angel's target because he let Angel do those things.

He laughs as he realise a thing.
He truly loves her.
