I walked out of the shower and wrapped the towel around me. I walked out of the bathroom and went to my closet to get my clothes.
I walked out of the closet and the guys were in our room. Alex, Jayson, Damon and Eli.
"Get out!" I yelled hitting them with my shirt.
They all laughed and walked out of my room wheezing from laughter.
I went to my door and locked it. I dropped my towel and put on my clothes. I decided to let my hair air dry.
I walked down the stairs to see all of them had a shit eating grin on their face, holding back laughter.
"Why the hell were y'all in my room?!" I asked.
"Well, we didn't know you just took a shower." Jayson said making them all go into another fit if laughter.
Eli was leaning on Damon's shoulder crying because he was laughing so hard.
I rolled my eyes and went back up to my room to pack my bag. We only had about five hours before we left for our flight.
About an hour later, my bag was packed and was in the living room along with Elijah's things.
Sassy came running down the stairs, her footsteps heard clearly against the hard wood floor. Jayson wasn't far behind.
She jumped in my arms and I rubbed right behind her ears, where she liked it the most.
Jayson came down and sat on the couch and Sassy jumped in his lap.
I looked around the room and smiled. I felt Eli's arms wrap around me and I laid my head back on his shoulder. "Do you think we could get an earlier flight?" I asked, closing my eyes and picturing the mountains.
"Yeah." He whispered in my ear, giving me a kiss on the cheek before he let me go and went to go check flight times.
He found an earlier flight, we had to leave right then. We put all our bags in the car and drove to the airport.
We made it just in time. Once we were on the plane, our journey began. We were on our way to Canada.
I wrapped my arms around Eli and kissed him. This next week will be be amazing. One week away from everyone, just me and Elijah.
***
When I woke up, everyone was exiting the plane. Elijah was grabbing our things. I stretched and got off, Elijah not far behind. Once we got everything, we were in a car and on our way to a house in the mountains, where we would be staying for the next week.
Once we arrived at the house I stepped out of the car and looked at the house. Right behind it you could see the snow covered mountains. It was breath taking, "It's beautiful." I smiled at him.
"Come here." he smiled. I knew exactly what he was thinking.
I smiled and walked over to him, he picked me up, bridal style and walked me through the threshold.
I giggled the whole time. I kissed his check before he threw me on the couch. "I'm going to go get our things from the car."
He was racing in and out of the house with our bags. I smiled and walked to the kitchen to make some hot cocoa. I found a pot and put some water in it then placed it over the stove.
I smiled as I felt a pair of hands wrap around my waist and lips touch my neck.
It's too dark to go outside and snowboard or ski so tonight it is just me, Elijah and a fire in the fireplace.
I turned around so I was looking at him. He smiled at me and kissed my lips. He pushed me against the counter and my hands went to the counter for support and his hands held the small of my back. My right hand missed the counter and hit the stove, slightly pushing the water off the heat, my hand taking its place.
I pulled my hand to my chest and yelled, "Shit!"
Elijah pulled away and looked at my hand. Even though it was gone in seconds, it still hurt like hell when it happened.
Eli couldn't help but laugh which made me smile, "Way to ruin an intimate moment." I said which only made Eli laugh harder.
***
The next morning I was ready to go skiing. I woke up Elijah like a little kid, begging to go out side and ski.
"Have you never skied before?" he asked looking at me quizzically.
"Well, no. But that's why I want to."
"Ok, ok. I'm just going to let you know that it isn't easy and it's hard on your feet." he warned.
"It can't be that bad."
I regretted saying those words two hours later.
I had spent two hours in the mountains with Elijah trying to figure out how to ski. My feet hurt like hell in the shoes and I wasn't getting it down fast enough. I finally just quit.
I waited at the bottom of the hill for Eli and ripped off my skies. I didn't care that the snow was freezing my feet off. I just ran around in the snow like a five year old.
When Elijah made it down he held me up away from the snow.
"Hey, I was playing in that!" I shouted.
"You're going to lose your toes."
"Then go get me some shoes and lets have a snowball fight." I grinned like a little kid.
He smiled, "Fine."
He dropped me in the snow and ran in the house and grabbed my snow boots. I slid them on and grabbed a fistfull of snow. I threw it at him but he dodged it.
He grabbed some snow and threw it. It hit me right in the face. I laughed so hard tears formed in my eyes.
"Oh my God, this is so fun." I laughed. I fell in the snow still laughing. And I figured, since I'm down here why not make a snow angel. I felt like a little kid again, it was awesome.
After about an hour of playing in the snow and making a snowman I leaned against Eli, "I'm tired." I yawned.
He picked me up, "Lets get you inside."
I nuzzled into his chest and my eyes started to close. He took me inside and took off my jacket and extra pants I had on and laid me down on the couch.
The last few days me and Elijah stayed inside and did... other things.
