"Then what was all that shopping for? I thought we were gonna go to the beach" I pout.

It seemed like we were going to have a picnic at the beach based on all the stuff we bought.
The trunk of the car opens. I see a bunch of other things in the trunk. I'm pretty sure that it wasn't there before.

"We are. These were just to stall for time and what better way than to shop for the better things in life" Namjoon admits as he starts unpacking 'the better things in life'. I silently help him.

"Interesting way of putting it, but now we have enough to last a week" I deadpan.
"A week, between five people?" Namjoon laughs.
"Wait-we're sharing?" I ask with wide eyes.

"We don't have to" he laughs.
I have to admit, it was a lot, even if we did share. But I would never admit it out loud. My pride as a glutton wouldn't stand it.

We start to drive out of town.
"You kidnapping me...again?" I ask, looking out the window.

"I know of this nice quiet place" Namjoon simply says.
"Well, we don't have much sunlight to spare" I say as I realise that it's a little past midday.

"Don't worry. We're almost there" Namjoon says with a slight smile.
"And we're here" he eventually says as he stops just before the beach line.

I climb out the car to see a very empty beach indeed. This place looks like it came out of a book. White sand with Crystal blue water causing tiny waves.

Well-I didn't bring my surfboard anyway.

I notice Namjoon taking out a few things.
"Want my help?" I ask, still looking at the bright scenery ahead of me.
"Nah" he says as he holds a bag to show that he's got everything he needed.

"And the rest?" I ask. Everything is going to get warm.
"Don't worry about that" he says as he holds out his free hand.

"Aish, you and this hand holding thing" I say but take his hand anyway. He gives me an amused smile.

"We're on a date. What do you expect?" I quickly defend before he says anything.
"I wasn't going to say anything" he snickers and leads me towards the beach.

"What kind of luck is this?" I ask at this perfect beach. It wasn't even this pretty back home.

"God kind of owes me this one" Namjoon sourly says at the sky as he clicks his tongue.

"I didn't think you were the religious type" I say.
"My version of 'God' is basically whoever the higher being is, not necessarily the religious version" he sums it up without batting an eye.

"I see" I simply say, not really knowing how to go from there.
"You can ask if you want" he says, looking towards the beach.

"Nah, seems too many people has asked before" I say, trying to cover up the fact that I'm not all that interested in the first place.
"If you want" he says, seeming kind of upset.

I grab a packet of chips from the bag and pop it open.

"We should probably eat first" Namjoon says as I offer the bag.

I dig through the bag to try and find the finger foods we bought. He checks his watch.

"I was thinking of something else" he says as he stands up, giving me a hand. The setting sun hits his face perfectly, highlighting his deep dimples. I quickly take out my phone to take a picture from where I was sitting.

"Stand still. You look like a goddess" I command, only to see him smile through my camera. I notice that his face gets closer to the lens.

"Aish-I said stand still" I complain, taking away my phone to see his face incredibly close.
"I thought you said you were hungry" he says with a straight face. I contemplate if I should ruin the moment to get his face out of mine. Instead, I shamelessly stare into his eyes, just for a little bit.
