Espio was taught to fight with dignity and honour

to use any skills necessary to win for the greater good

to keep strong and prideful even in the direst situations

...a little hard when you were chained up to a chair and the only thing free was his face

a group of zeti, also known as the deadly 6 had taken an interest in the young chameleon

a battle against Espio and zazz the zeti had taken place

the other purple and crazier creature had grabbed the chameleons gloved hand and held him above a group of mindless zombots that were once innocent civilians

"Who hoo, Haha, Jackpot" the insane zeti laughed

Espio couldn't believe how easy it was that he found him, seemed the zeti had a skilful sense of smell that had never come across the ninja's mind

"Impossible" was all the chameleon could say

Espio was sure that he was going to be dropped into the swarm but a confused sound made Espio look back in suspicion

"huh?! you want me to take him with us?! but! oh...ok fine" the zeti screamed into his communicator

Espio's cover was blown as he couldn't concentrate properly and he was no longer invisible

he was still grieving the loss of his teammates/family and he had no idea what the zeti's were planning

he tried struggling out of his hold but it simply caused the grip to harden and lowered ever so slightly to the swarm that he had to curl into a ball and wrap his tail around his leg so the infectious metal covering the civilians wouldn't touch him

"today's your lucky day kid, Master Zik likes the look of ya and decides to meet ya haha" Zazz explained with an evil smirk and tongue sticking out

Espio was not going to be taken so easily and using his free hand tried to reach for his weapon to attack

only for Zazz to grab both hands and hold him in the air, walking towards a barrel of silver liquid that was upon his floating transportation device

"I'd recommend stopping squirming squirt, wouldn't want you to become one of them eh?!" Zazz laughed excitedly but with a deadly warning as he held the chameleon just above the fluid

the grip was lighter and one more twist would make him plummet right into it, and by what he could tell, he was the least stable of the deadly 6, he couldn't be certain of what he could do

so his only option at this moment was to stay still as he was taken to the base

when they arrived, Espio was imminently chained up to a chair and left there under zazzes stir crazy eyes until the others returned

zazz was about to gag him but he saw no need, the chameleon hadn't spoken a word at all and master zik would probably want him to answer questions

not to mention when he tried the first time the zeti got an unexpected and unpleasant surprise

fun fact about chameleons is that they have sharp teeth that are tiny and hard to see with the naked eye. and Jackson chameleons such as Espio have rows of sharp, pointy teeth on both jaws, similar to those of a shark

a fact that zazz had the unfortunate privilege of knowing as to when he tried to muzzle the chameleon Espio bit him hard on his hand

Espio hated being trapped and he sure as hell wasn't going to let this creature muzzle him
