Chapter 9: Social Party 101

5 years have past and Janet is now 15 yers old. In the past 5 years, a lot have changed, a lot have happened

When she reached the age of 11, she completed her fathers goal for her to complete and execute 30 assassination missions.

when she reached the age of 12, she completed the goal of 40 assassination missions for that year but not the goal of 20 retrieving information missions which got her punished.

The punishment was for her to stay in a steaming hot room for 4 hours and to be electrocuted 2 times every 20 minutes. It was brutal, Janet actually shedded tears from the pain

When Janet reached he age of 13, Janet started doing international missions which her multi language skill came in handy. Over the whole year, there were a total of 3 international missions. Which was very different, but that wasn't what was the most different for the whole year.

"You called for me, father?"

"Yes"

Janet walks in not knowing what was coming to her.

"Janet, your at the age where you have to consider your future as the heir-"

"Father." Janet cuts George out which did not make him happy.

"I apologise, but I have no interest in becoming the heir."

"What?!"

"But. I do want to lead the Mafias."

"You-" George rubs his face is distress.

"I apologise father, but I honestly have no interest in entering the political industry."

George was silent.

Though it took along time, George accepted the fact and said for Janet to work hard in become the leader of the Mafias. As for the heir, George is thinking of a solution, but Janet knows what'll happen since she's read the novel.

Along with all this, Janet also learned the basics of hacking and is starting to build her skill from there.

by the time Janet was 14, she finally became an offical member of the Mafias since she's of age, but she doesn't go the the hut all the time, instead she gets straight orders from her father since she's his daughter.

And now the she's 15, the female lead is also 15 which means the original story is about to start.

Janets school status is the same, she's been the top of her grade in the girls categories since the school ranks students by sex, Ace has gotten the first place in the grades boy category.

Ace has always hanged out with Janet ever since that day he started following her at school, Janet was annoyed at first, but as days, weeks, months and now years went by, she starts getting used to his presence. At times when she went out, he would also tag along. But actually accepting him as a friend is something Janet didn't do or even think about doing.
