Forbidden Love

Chapter 45

 

  Amy loved the way his lips felt against hers, it was unimaginably soft against hers, so she deepened the kiss to have a better taste of him. His left arm was firmly wrapped around her small waist to hold her in place while his right hand was gently caressing her cheek as his tongue explored every inch of her mouth. Amy could feel the butterflies in her stomach dancing for joy from this mind blowing kiss she was sharing with the love of her life.

Amy and Bryan are currently on a date in the VIP section of a cinema. Bryan had booked the entire place for their date, to celebrate their six months anniversary. Amy who was so excited about being alone with Bryan once again, completely ignored the movie they were watching after thirty minutes and sat comfortably on Bryan's lap, distracting him with hot kisses on his neck which brought them to their present action.

"You know we came here to watch a movie, right?" Bryan whispered against her lips, his hot minty breath hovering over hers.

Amy felt her entire body tingle with excitement just from the sound of his deep husky voice. The amazing things this man does to her.

"Forget the movie, I've missed you" She whispered back and captured his lower lip in her mouth.

The kiss was slowly getting heated when Amy's phone suddenly began to ring, interrupting them. Amy mentally face palmed for being so foolish by keeping her phone on. This wouldn't have happened if she switched it off like she had planned. God help her if she was interrupted by her best friend, Mandy. She would certainly pay for what she just did.

She gave Bryan a shy smile and quietly stood up from his lap. After taking her ringing phone out of her purse, she said a polite 'excuse me' and walked a few distance away from Bryan to pick the call.

Amy took a deep breath, preparing to scold her best friend when her eyes caught the name on her phone screen. It wasn't her best friend calling, it was Kyle. She immediately composed herself before answering the call.

"Hello?" She quietly said.

"Hello, Amy. I was about giving up. Were you busy? Did I interrupt something?" Kyle's deep concerned voice asked.

"No, no. Not at all" Amy replied with a nervous laugh.

"Okay... I just wanted to apologize for the other day. I acted like a total jerk"

"Kyle, that happened like two months ago"

"Yeah. I know, but I haven't found the time to give a proper apology... When I came over to your house later that day, you weren't home. I didn't get to see you to apologize"

Amy immediately felt bad for her actions. She had totally forgotten to thank him for the gifts he got her on Valentine's day because she was too busy thinking about what she would've done with Bryan that day if her dad hadn't shown up. Now she gets it, Kyle thinks she's mad at him for cancelling lunch at the last minute.

"Kyle, forgive my manners. I'm so sorry for not saying thank you for the wonderful gifts you sent... I know you think I'm mad at you but I'm not, I've totally forgotten about that day" She quickly explained herself, feeling guilty for unknowingly acting like a brat.

'Kyle is a sweet guy' she thought to herself. He didn't want to come out straight by telling her that he didn't get a call or text from her after the gifts he sent and his apology note, probably because he thinks he's the one in the wrong and he doesn't want to hurt her feelings.

"Hearing this from you is such a relief, but.." he paused, making Amy wonder what he was going to say.

"... I still want to make it up to you"
