Three days since the incident and nothing has changed. Amy was still in a coma and isn't showing any sign of recovery. Her parents and loved ones are devastated.

Bryan on the other hand was a complete mess. He hasn't had a wink of sleep since Amy was brought to the hospital, neither has he had a proper shave or anything to eat. He couldn't stop blaming himself for Amy's present condition and the death of their unborn child. He kept hoping and praying that Amy would wake up, because if she doesn't, he'd join her in the afterlife. He desperately wanted to tell her how sorry he was for putting her through so much pain, as he hasn't had the chance to see her in person because of a furious Paula, who didn't want him anywhere near her daughter.

Henry, Chris and Bryan were currently seated in the hallway while Paula was beside Amy in her hospital room. They were all anxiously waiting for her to regain consciousness. Sean and Mandy weren't present because Henry had asked them to go home and freshen up, which they reluctantly obeyed.

While they were waiting, Chris, who didn't like his wife's current state tried convincing her to eat something, since she hasn't done that in days. Paula didn't want to at first, but after much persuasion and plea from her husband and the thought of her son, Carl, who was at home with a babysitter, she eventually agreed to eat, but only on the condition that it should be in the hospital cafeteria because she didn't want to be far away from her daughter.

Paula kissed Amy goodbye and promised to be back in no time.

Chris asked Henry and Bryan to join them, but they both declined the invitation. Some minutes later, Henry received a phone call from Kyle, who just arrived the city after hearing what happened to Amy. He signaled Bryan that he was going to take the call outside.

When Bryan was left alone in the hallway, he contemplated whether or not he should go in and see Amy. He didn't want to get caught by Henry, neither did he want to get into more trouble with Paula, but his urge to see the love of his life was far stronger than whatever consequence that would come after, so he made his way to Amy's room.

A lump was caught in Bryan's throat the moment he opened the door and saw Amy lying unconscious on the bed. She was put on a life support machine. He slowly walked towards her bed, taking a seat beside her. He took her small hand in his, gently stroking her fingers.

"Forgive me, Amy. Forgive me for everything" Bryan began, as a stray tear freely rolled down his cheek.

"It wasn't my intention to hurt you. I only wanted your happiness.. your freedom.." he paused, then continued.

"Although you never admit it, I see it in your eyes... I see how hurt you are whenever we can't go out together in public, whenever you don't get to participate in certain events like every other couple your age and it hurts me... It hurts me to know that I'm the reason for your sadness, that I'm the one holding you back when you ought to be truly free"

Bryan took some of Amy's hair away from her face, tucking it behind her ear.

"I'm sorry for all the hurtful things I said that day. I lied about everything and I.. I regret it so much" he confessed through gritted teeth, bursting into tears.

"I love you, Amy. I never stopped loving you and I never will... Please forgive me. Forgive me for making us lose our unborn child" he sobbed, finally letting out all the emotions he has been bottling up for the past few days.

When his sobs had died down, he wiped his tears with the back of his hand and stood up, ready to leave. He leaned forward and placed a lingering kiss on her forehead.

"I'll be waiting for you to open those gorgeous eyes" Bryan whispered close to her ear before walking out of the room without a backward glance.

If only he had looked back, he would've noticed the small movement in Amy's fingers.
