"Hey, what's the rush? We have the all day to ourselves!" Sean called out to Amy, who was making her way to her new ferrari.

"Look here, Sean. I don't have all day... The sooner we get this over with, the sooner I get my life back" Amy firmly stated when she stopped beside her car.

"Whoa, slow down. This wasn't my idea in the first place and.. if I recall correctly, you agreed to it"

"Don't try to act smart with me. We both know that you welcomed the idea with open arms"

"I won't argue with you on that one.." he paused.

"But that was because I wanted to know you better"

"Don't be fooled by the act I put on two days ago... I have no intention of knowing you"

"Are you always this bad tempered, or is it just with me?" Sean couldn't help but ask, as he noticed that Amy was always angry at him.

"Are you always this clueless?" She asked back, rolling her eyes in annoyance.

She hated the fact that he was acting all innocent and carefree when in reality he was proud and arrogant. She has never behaved this way towards anyone, but he is an exception because he did the same to her years back, when they were kids.

      ******Flashback******

Henry and his wife, Paula came over to Bryan's house with their daughter, Amy, for their usual get together during the weekends. Bryan's wife was still alive at the time.

Amy went to the garden because she got bored with staying in the same place as the adults and having no one to play with. When she got to the garden, she noticed Sean playing with his German shepherd dog, so she decided to join him.

"Can I join you?" She politely asked but Sean said nothing. In fact, he acted like no one was even there.

Amy didn't notice the angry expression on Sean's face. She mistook his silence for a yes, and knelt down on the grass to play with the dog. She always wanted a dog, but her dad wouldn't get her one because he was scared she would get hurt by the dog some day. She touched its soft fur, enjoying how it felt against her skin.

"He's so pretty. What's his name?" She asked while gently stroking the grey dog.

"Take your hands off my dog" Sean angrily said, shoving Amy's hand away from his dog.

"I only wanted to play with it" she tried to explain with sadness in her voice.

"Then go get yours" he replied, glaring at her.

"Why don't you like to play with me?" A crying Amy asked because, although she wasn't the same age as Sean, she had always wanted them to become friends like their parents, but it seems Sean doesn't want that.

Everytime she tried to get close to him, he always pushed her away. There was this one time she wanted to join him and his best friend, Chase, to play video games. He told her that he doesn't play with girls, especially girls her age and had asked her to leave Chase's bedroom even though Chase insisted that she could stay and play with them. She thought he was just being a boy and still tried to get close to him, but his reactions were always the same.

"I don't like you" Sean bluntly said, leaving a sobbing Amy alone in the garden.

*****Ended Of Flashback*****

Amy could feel her eyes water at the memory. He really has no idea the pain he caused her. She fought back the tears and cleared her throat, so that nothing would give away her emotion. She can't let him see her weakness. Not now, not ever.

"If you have no intentions of taking a tour today, just let me know so I can go back inside" Amy suddenly said, as her memory of when they were little has drained her of whatever energy she had.

Sean sensed Amy's sudden change in behavior. There was a distant look in her eyes, like her mind was obviously somewhere else. He shouldn't have said anything, now she isn't going to speak to him. He could tell something was bothering her, but she was trying her best to conceal it.

"I didn't mean to call you bad tempered... I only wanted to know if you had something against me" he quietly explained to ease the current tension between them.

"You really have no idea, do you?" Amy's reply further confirmed his earlier suspicion.

"If this has anything to do with our first meeting, I'm sorry" he apologized hoping she was angry with him because on their first meeting, he came on too strong for her liking.

"I don't like you... Those were your own words eighteen years ago" Amy said through gritted teeth as a stray tear rolled down her face. She mentally cursed herself for letting her guard down.

Why couldn't she hold in a simple tears?

Sean was instantly filled with a sense of guilt. Everything now made sense to him and he doesn't blame her for reacting the way she did. Hell, she should've done worse because he deserved so much more than what she was throwing at him.

"Amy, I-"

"Don't even try to apologize" she cut him off before he could even begin his sentence.

"Nothing... Absolutely nothing can make up for the pain you caused me" she continued, finally giving in to her tears.

"I know nothing I say or do can make up for the way I treated you in the past... But please, all I ask for is a chance to start afresh" Sean pleaded with much guilt and sincerity in his voice.

If only he could turn back the hands of time, he would correct every mistake he ever made with Amy.

"I can't do this right now" Amy shook her head in disapproval and turned around to leave but Sean held her hand, preventing her from moving.

"I'm sorry" his voice was mixed with emotions, anger, regret and sadness.

Amy could do nothing about that because a simple sorry can't change the past. She removed her hand from his grip and ran back into the mansion, leaving a dejected Sean outside all by himself.
