"kaeya! why do you yell so loudly?!" yoimiya tugged at him, her eyes shooting like daggers. "they probably he-" something cut off yoimiya from yelling at kaeya once more.
turning on your headlights, you had already snuck into your seat, not wanting to face what you've missed dearly.
"y/n.. i think she is coming this way." yoimiya told you, trying to keep herself calm. "i think you should talk to her.."
your black tinted car windows had somewhat blocked what the white haired woman could see.
as yoimiya slightly opened to window, just enough to talk, she looked over at you. "yes ma'am, do you need something?" kaeya couldn't help but let out a chuckle at yoimiya's involuntary voice change. however, he quickly got put back into his place and yoimiya hit him.
"do you mind putting the window lower?" ningguang spoke up, leaning towards the window. "i just want to see if i was mistaken by who you may be."
the car went completely quiet.
"oh well, i must've been mistaken then.." as ningguang walked away, your chest felt lighter.
the somewhat moment of peace was interrupted by a loud knock on your window.
"your tinted windows don't work that well, want me to pay for new ones?" the voice almost brought tears into your eyes.

"sorry beidou.." all of you were apologizing to beidou for ignoring her. "and sorry ningguang."
you could barely look beidou in the eyes. even though both of you were so close, you felt almost ashamed to have tried getting away when you know you would regret it afterwards.
"don't you have to apologize to?" you finally spoke up, but in a low grumble. that tiny bit of confidence you had in you had vanished in an instant as beidou looked down at you. the sigh coming from her mouth had you untensed and eyes opening slowly.
"i guess i do." beidou closed her eyes, arms folded. "i'm sorry for not letting you contact me whatsoever, even if it was for your safety, it was quite sensitive of me." the sincere apology made you feel guilty of being mad.
"did she pick on ningguang form of exquisite speech?" kaeya mocked as he chuckled. while he was chuckling you couldn't help but notice ningguang slowly going up to him, raising a hand that was aching to hit his head.
as soon as kaeya noticed, it was as if a button had been pushed for automatic submission. "i'm sorry! i didn't mean it ms. ningguang, please don't make a dent in my beautiful head!" ningguang couldn't sense it, but you could. there had been a hint of sarcasm and mocking in his speech of "weakness".
as soon as ningguang took his eyes of him and onto what she had been doing before, he gave you a look of pride. "you shouldn't be proud of that" you couldn't help but chuckled with your attempt at a serious tone.
"you loved it" kaeya let out a giggle. the giggle he let out was as if a demon had been exorcised by ningguang hand.
"ew, what was that?" you gave him a face of confused and disgust. the pout he made, almost made you want to get into a car and drive away, once more..

a few days past you were already back at home.
"nothing feels as refreshing as being in the place i loved so much, with the one i loved even more.." you looked at beidou, who was helping you make at your new place. "my dear pet." you gave your cat a big hug.
"wow, i didn't get that big of a hug when i saw you after a long time." beidou acted as if she was offended. "don't ask me for another extra paycheck ever again.."
"please no beidou, don't leave.." you acted along in her act of just wanting attention. 'i'll do anything..."
"anything?" beidou let out a smirk. you chocked on your spit. "come on y/n, speak up." beidou's change of tone made your face completely red. you head no idea on how to respond.
no, no respond like that y/n... not like that..
before you could do anything, you were already bowing down and ironically barking for him in your head.
"anything for you ma'am.." you said in a sarcastic way.
"awe, i was hopping for you to not be sarcastic.." beidou looked away and kept on cleaning up. "oh well."
you cough up whatever you feel is down your throat, stopping you from relaxing.
beidou kept on talking, noticing you were too stunned to speak. "since you confessed your love to me and all just yesterday, i was expecting it to be like those wattpad stories where we go to bed right away, what a shame."
the woman you were looking up at, suddenly gave off an aura you had never gotten to know.
"i know you've always been like this, and it's cute and all. but, loosen up a little, you've got to get used to when i talk to you like this." beidou chuckled, looking at you with a hint of pity in her eyes. "expect there to be more if you keep on looking like that."
