I was so hyped up with their comeback but got disappointed.
The beginning of Next Level sounded like Black Mamba. As the song goes on, a part reminded me of NCT's Resonance and had some beats from Punch and Growl from EXO. And while this isn't the baddest thing, it's the fact that they added TOO MUCH into it. I think they were experimenting a lot and the song's a bit too long for them. The beat changes every 15 seconds. It sounded like SNSD's I Got a Boy too lol.
I was so lost and confused because I couldn't even tell which part of the song was the pre-chorus, verse 1, verse 2, etc.
But on the bright side, I loved most of their rap even though I think vocals suit them better. The dance was kind of average and the chorus is catchy! I loooveee Ningning's red hair!! She looks so pretty🥺

So, I'm not gonna stan yet. Black Mamba was IT but this song wasn't for me :/ It might grow on me but it'll be hard to memorize 😂 Plus, I'm still waiting for a debut album.
