I'm a little late with this chapter lol but I want to give a little review on Kingdom. I just watched the performances, wasn't really updated with what was going on with the ranking, wins and the competition per se.
The performances were expensive asf. I met new groups and recognized some new talent especially BTOB and SF9! I'm currently learning about SF9, I want to stan them, they're amazing!
Ateez were the ones that left me screaming and shocked in all of their performances till the end. The Answer performance was a little disappointing ngl :/ and The Real performance wasn't like the other ones but I still enjoyed watching it. I wanted them to win so bad but still all groups deserved the win tbh because they all worked their butts off to give us memorable performances.
I watched The Boyz performances behind and I get emotional seeing how much effort they put into their work and the fact that they ended up second place after first place in Road to Kingdom, that's huge!! I'm so proud of them 😭 I didn't have that much hope for them to win, I thought they would end up maybe 5th place? because the final results were 100% voted by fans but they won second place!😩
For anyone who doesn't know, here's the final results: 1. Stray Kids 2. The Boyz 3. Ateez 4. BTOB 5. iKON 6. SF9
SF9 deserved better, I feel sorry for not being able to vote but oh well :( In my opinion, their performances were better than iKON's and BTOB's (not being biased, I stan iKON), that's what caught my attention from them. They have a good chemistry and stage presence. But like someone said, "Just because you rank high doesn't mean you're skilled." ;) And not trynna discredit other groups, like I said, all of them put their blood, sweat & tears to be remembered by their amazing performances so let's support all groups!!
Stray Kids also slayed, they didn't win first place for nothing. I can't stop imagining how crazy they would have been if Hyunjin was there but still all of the members shone bright in every performance. Han and Jeongin wrecked me so hard 😭 I used to see Jeongin so cute, calm and a baby but HE WAS SO HOT in Kingdom!
These were the best performances in my opinion (Not sure if I've watched them all already though, they're a lot)
Yunho's outfit was a huge yes from me 😍
This is a little extra but I didn't like how they styled San in some of the performances. His clothes sometimes looked a little bigger than him or maybe I just don't like him with baggy clothes. Also, can we talk about how many times Hongjoong changed his hairstyle??

The group interactions in Kingdom is a huge win for multistans and this performance was just a blessing 😔✨
The Boyz's Monster performance was one of my favorites as well. I can't remember well their other performances, the only one that keeps lingering in my mind is this one. Hyunjae stood out a lot!!🥵 The leather outfits really suit them especially Changmin and their stage presence as a whole group is beautiful.
Not gonna talk about the other performances, this chapter is already long.

As I said before, the interactions were so wholesome to watch, especially Sunwoo with Bobby 🥺 and the iconic friendships like Changbin and Wooyoung.
Another thing I wanted to mention was about Lisa and Miyeon getting to perform in Kingdom. I don't understand why they collaborated, it just seems like a technique to win or get the public's attention. It felt kind of off to me that they were there especially since Lisa is in the same company as iKON and Miyeon and BTOB :/ Not hating on them, it's probably not their fault.
Anyways, congrats if you have reached the end of this chapter! Let me know what you guys think about the performances and the competition. I enjoyed the survival show. Wasn't one of the streaming/voting fans, just wanted to enjoy the process :)
PS: I got interested in TVXQ too after finding out Changmin was the MC and his interaction with Changmin from The Boyz 😂 I listen to U-Know so I guess I stan TVXQ now :D
