A couple of months pass since Ram, Lakshman and their two brothers returned to Ayodhya. The corridors were filled with the same laughter it was filled with before they left. The boys were carefree and enjoying themselves very much. Their mothers were pampering them in every way possible, especially Shatrughan.

This particular day the four brothers were in the garden, messing around like they always did. After a while, they all got tired and sat down. Lakshman put his head on Ram's lap where he always felt the safest.

(Meanwhile in the courtroom)

Dashrath helplessly says "Maharishi, it's been barely a couple of months since they finished school. He is just a teenager."

"Dashrath, he will benefit a lot more if he went with Brahmarshi Vishvamitra. let him go," Vashisht says trying to persuade the King

"But..." Dashrath tries to say

"There is no point of arguing Dashrath. If you don't send your son he will miss out on an opportunity of a lifetime. And if Bharamrishi has that much faith in him so do I," Vashisht says with finality.

Knowing that he is fighting a losing battle, especially with the best rishis in the world, Dashrath gives in and finally says "sumantra, go get the four boys."

(Back in the Garden)

"Rajkumar Ram," sumantra says once he reaches the four princes

"Yes, Sumantra kaka. Is it something important?" Ram asks looking up at Sumantra.

"Your father has asked for you and your brothers to come to the courtroom immediately," Sumantra replies

Nodding Ram says "tell Pitaji we will be there in a minute."

Sumantra walks off to tell the king.

Getting up Ram says "come on boys we have to go to father."

(Back into the courtroom)

"Ram meet Brahmarshi Vishvamitra. He has requested that you accompany him to his Ashram for a couple of months. He needs your help," once Ram comes into the room with his brothers Dashrath says

The four brothers greet the Brahmarshi with great respect, due to his high status.

Brahmarshi Vishvamitra walks up to Ram and Lakshman after he blessed the four brothers and says "both of you be ready tomorrow morning to come with me."

"Brahmarshi Vishvamitra, you only asked for Ram," says a confused Dashrath

Vashisht replies for the Brahmarshi "Dashrath, Ram and Lakshman cannot spend even a minute apart from each other, and the Brahmarshi knew that. That's why even though he only asked for Ram he is taking both the brothers."

(The next couple of weeks)

The brothers travel with Brahmarshi Vishvamitra to his ashram, and for an entire, two weeks they obediently followed his orders. On the day of the yagna, he orders the two brothers and they do exactly as he says. Ram was at the entrance, and Lakshman was at the side.

Upon hearing the Laughter of monsters Ram shoots an arrow creating a shield and Lakshman shoots another arrow at the same time to make sure the shield was dull safe and the people in the ashram watch in awe at the two brothers, while Brahmarshi Vishvamitra just smiles to himself.

"Look Ma Brahmarshi Vishvamitra bought two teenagers to protect him," mocked Mareech

"We may be teenagers but we sure have a lot more brains than you," Lakshman says

"You seem to have a lot of confidence, boy. But soon you will see your defeat," Tataki says

A battle starts an entire army of Rakshasas come and start to attack the boys. Tataki and her two sons are surprised to see the two teenage boys using their bows and arrows so swiftly. Soon Mareech understands it is better to retreat so he leaves. The brothers finish off the entire army and soon even kill Tataki and one of her sons.
