I honestly have no clue what the drawing is of, but it was math and I was bored and that was the result.

Okay so Peter is genderfluid in this, and it does explain it later, but they were born with female parts. Just a heads up so you guys aren’t too confused.

HAPPY PRIDE MONTH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Not to be cheesy or anything, but imma be cheesy. Too many parents don’t accept their children. I should know, I have a couple of those parents (to the point where my mother manipulated me to break up with my significant other because we have the same body parts. I phrase it like this because what is my gender? fuck if I know). And I know how bad it hurts, even though we try to pretend it doesn’t and that it’s just life. And, while I know that you probably hear this too many times and it makes you roll your eyes and laugh when you hear it, I do accept you, even if others don’t.

Having said that, I know that sometimes I just want to yell and vent, scream at people that I am who I am, a queer mess, and that they need to deal with it. Now, let's get into the story!
-----------------------------------------------------------------

Peter sighed as they woke up. They looked at the clock, saw that it was still too early to function, and snuggled back under their blankets. They loved going to school, but they hated their internal alarm clock. It was already a week into summer, and they were going to cry if they woke up before 7 one more time. They tried to close their eyes and go back to bed, but their brain had already turned on. Peter sighed and got up, leaving their room and going out to the kitchen where May was making herself breakfast. She smiled at Peter and gestured to the stove.

“You’re up early, love. Want an egg or something?”

Peter nodded, slumping onto the stool at the counter. They watched as May cracked two eggs into a pan, smiling at the sizzling noise it made.

“So, how’d you sleep?”

“I slept fine. I woke up a couple times throughout the night, but other than that it was fine.”

“Well that’s good,” May said, flipping the eggs. “So, what are you gonna do today?”

Peter hummed, getting up and walking to the fridge to get strawberries. “I don’t know. Maybe I’ll invite Ned over and watch movies with him.”

May smiled. “Sounds fun. And don’t forget the bracelet. He hasn’t picked up on how to tell from posture yet, honey.”

Peter nodded, smiling. They had been so scared when they had come out to May, even though they knew it was irrational. May had already made sure Peter knew that they would be accepted when Peter was her niece, and before Peter had even realized something felt off themself. After they had come out, May had asked how she would know their gender on a day to day basis. Peter had been a little stumped on that one, because there were days when they didn’t know themself. On those days, they usually just stayed home covered in layers upon layers of blankets. May had suggested a bracelet system, with certain colors meaning certain pronouns. Peter had been filled with excitement at the suggestion and had immediately made bracelets. The blue one was they/them, green was she/her, and purple was he/him. They had other bracelets for days when they used she/they or he/they, but the blue, green, and purple ones were used most often. The bracelet system was especially helpful on days when they felt femenine and wore femenine clothes, but didn’t want to use femenine pronouns.
