I WOULD HIGHLY SUGGEST READING THE NOTES!!!

notes: alters can talk to each other (some do and some don't)/ slow switches can signify that the system is heavily dissociated/ DID is caused from trauma?/ each alter is a different mindset-person with their own age and personality and gender and even physical differences like eyesight and health conditions/ when an alter fronts the host can be completely unaware of what happens/ most have up in the teens amount of alters, but some people can have only a few or to only have a few present until others feel safe making themselves known/ stress and many things can trigger switches/ dissociating can be spacing out, glazed eyes, acting different, different voices or gestures, sudden changes in emotion and reactions/ alters can have roles in the system, such as the protector or the trauma holder/ switches are not big things that attract attention, that is the opposite purpose of DID/ alters and switches are different around people they are more comfortable with/ DID is ultimately trauma disorder and not a personality disorder/ you can't switch on demand/ you can hear your alters, but they are like loud versions of your own thoughts/ alter development is not a conscious process/

persecutor alters are alters that reflect the abuser or person that created trauma/ protector alters protect from unbearable situations-are stronger than host personality/

from @AllTogetherMPD 's story on their DID

can have positive and negative triggers for switches

(I did research hehe)

So lately I've been trying to be more aware of all the mental disorders and diseases and personality disorders and things that come from trauma and fear and one of the things that I have been reading about and learning about is dissociative identity disorder and I wanted to make a one shot of Peter with DID/MPD. I do apologize for any inaccuracies. I do know that it varies from person to person and their traumas, I am just basing this one shot off of a few videos and articles I've read recently, so please feel free to give me more information or correct me when I mess something up. This goes for every one shot involving any mental issues. I am not trying to be inaccurate and inconsiderate, so please kindly correct me and I will fix my mistake. I do not have any of these specific mental issues I am writing about. I do have mild depression, but that's nowhere near DID and the other things I am writing about while trying to be more aware of other peoples struggles. After even just a bit of research on this subject I can safely say that all you guys with DID are hella strong people. You are awesome and doing so great! I am so proud of all of you and your systems.

In this one shot I decided that Tony knows about Peter having DID, but as Peter doesn't live with him an usually doesn't come to the lab on rapid switch days or days when a trauma holder is fronting more than once, Tony has never met the protector of the system or really any other alter more than just a brief confrontation. Basically, Flash is a dick and Peter switches with a few alters until the protector fronts. MJ is there to help as she has met all of Peters alters many times and they have come to trust her (the trauma holders not that much but enough that if they front they will stay closer to her as she is a familiar face that so far hasn't made any sudden movements and loud noises when they front if that makes sense).

Peter- host

Aries-2nd most prominent alter, same age as Peter (in this shot he's 16), usually the more energetic and is kind of like a gatekeeper alter (an alter that keeps trauma holders from fronting and can control which alters front)
