Wolf form wasn't an option, so I arrived at the cemetery slower than I wanted too, I smelt him instantly and thanked the mother that the hunters didn't have a good sense of smell. Walking around I made sure I stayed out of sight of anyone, I knew that Hunter families kept their fallen in crypts, their ashes encased in stone, surrounded by the Hunters before them.
Alpha Viceras heard my arrival and spun around, he didn't looked fazed or shocked, like he knew I would come,

"What the hell do you think you're doing?" I snapped at him,

"Giving you the push you need, you can't afford to have sentimentality in this Lily, you need to act fast, otherwise the opportunity will slip through your fingers" he talked as if I had no idea what I was doing,

"And you think doing this is going to help our cause, interrupting their mourning of a fallen one, the last thing the hunters need right now before a treaty is even proposed is to have wolves sulking in the shadows at the memorial of a hunter killed by a wolf"

"Not one of ours" he rebutted,

"You think that matters to them? We have a chance to show them that not all wolves are the same, that we have the ability to be empathetic to others, but we will not succeed in this if you continuously go off half cocked thinking you know better than everyone else. You and Holden both swore an oath to me, you put your faith and trust in the fact that I know how to help our kind and humans, to live together without war or violence, that can tear packs and families apart, so you need to trust me now" he stood there staring me down, but I refuse to submit, not because I was an Alpha, but because I was right, this wasn't the way to handle things,

"I will talk to Taylor tomorrow, but for right now, you and me need to leave"

"Is that an order?" he asked, I looked at him in shock, was he going to fight me on this?

"Does it need to be?" after a brief pause, he sighed and looked down, I willed my heartbeat to calm as well, as I wasn't sure how this was going to turn out, Alpha Viceras is more radical than I had realized and I needed to watch him from now on. I turned around to walk back to the car when I saw Taylor and Eric standing there staring at us,

"What the hell are you doing here?" Eric's eyes zeroed in on me,

"I'm sorry, we were just leaving" I bowed my head to show respect but Alpha Viceras didn't seem to like that too much and he stepped forward,

"We came here to see if the Hunters were interested in a truce" I snapped my head at him and growled, a low warning growl, telling him to stand down, he looked at me and then back at the Hunters,

"No is not the time, we are sorry for intruding" I explain again and grab Alpha Viceras' wrist ready to drag him away if I needed too.

"Lily is right, now is not the time" Taylor spoke up, he stood in front of Eric who's eyes were still on mine, I almost didn't have the nerve to meet them but I did, I wanted to convey every thought and feeling I had about Keith's death to him but I knew that last thing he would want right now is for me to mention his brother,

I could sense Alpha Viceras was going to say something else, so I turned to him and growled again this time he had to submit, his head lowering, his eyes staring at the ground,

"I see we've missed quiet a bit" Taylor gestured to me, his eyes zeroing in on the new features I had, white hair, green eyes, sharper canines, less human.

"A discussion for another time, I take it you over heard?" he have a stiff nod,

"I'll talk to my father" were the only words he said before, grabbing Eric and dragging him away, he kept his eyes on me until he was out of sight, I kept listening to their footsteps until I was sure they were far enough away.
