I was moved from the cell not long after I fell asleep, Holden stirred, I felt it, he made sure everybody else knew they were moving me. However, the trial wasn't pushed forward, they were moving me to a more secure location, the basement. I was escorted by those I once thought of as comrades, from the bunker, the wolves gathered forming a path through the woods, all the way up to the house, my family, my pack, have turned their backs on me. At the top of the porch was Alpha Knight, his posture straight and tall, looking down upon me, the girl who cried wolf, nobody that remained believed me and he was going to make sure they never did, that my words were false, all to try and take power for myself.

Luna Knight was no where to be seen, whether she elected not to show or the Alpha was keeping her out of sight I didn't know but I knew he ordered this to happen, the parade of eyes, watching me march towards my death, I wasn't sure if it was to try and psych me out, lose my nerve, but it only made me more determined to show my pack that their Alpha is not a real leader and would rather see them dead than have his secret brought to light. I made sure my eyes never left his as I was moved past him, eventually turning as I entered the house, a place I once felt like my second home, now is my prison, I felt like an outsider.

I was moved through the kitchen where the slut squad sat in judgement, scoffing at my appearance and the fact I was brought into their presence. To the right of the kitchen was the doorway to the basement, beyond that led to all the formal rooms the pack uses, including the great hall that was the sight of the massacre. They tried shoving me through the small door and down the narrow steps but I pushed back, knocking one of them into the wall and growled,

"Touch me again and you'll lose your hand" he glared at me as I turned and walked down the stairs. The basement was huge, rows upon rows of our history, artifacts, documentation, all paper, we don't want any trace of us online; all of it is locked behind strong iron bars, to the left is a walk way that leads to the back where prisoners are kept, it used to be the place where torture happened, silver, iron, devices of every nature, designed to inflict the most amount of pain, now it is simply an open space with a bar on the wall to tie people too. I tried hard not to look in the direction of the escape tunnel, I don't know if they knew I remembered it was there, I wonder if they even remembered it was there. We got to the open area and inside was Cooper and Roland, standing against the far wall, I was shocked to see them, surprised and hurt, that they would stand for it, but not all wolves are strong enough to defy their Alpha. My eyes met Coopers and he looked away, Coward, She sneered inside me, I thought the same, how his loyalty to Holden didn't surpass that of Alpha Knight I'll never know. They sat me down on the seat, the wolf escorting me pulled on gloves and removed hand cuffs from the iron railing,

"Is that really necessary?" I ask, his eyes look down at me but he didn't say a word,

"I suppose I should be flattered then" I goaded, "Does the Alpha think so highly of me and therefore so lowly of his guard wolves, that he thinks you aren't enough to subdue me" I smiled at the growl that escape his lips and he slapped the cuffs on me as tightly as he could, I held my tongue to the sharp kiss of the silver has it burnt against my skin, I wouldn't give any of them the satisfaction of my discomfort.

"It is a shame Lily" I looked up to see Alpha Knight who had moved in behind the group of wolves that were chosen to bring me here. "Such a talented wolf, you could have taken this pack to new heights, but you had to go and commit treason, betraying your own kind, your brothers and sisters and for what?" I knew it was rhetorical but I felt like answering anyway,

"To save them" I knew it would have been too cryptic for them to understand especially if they hadn't been privy to the information that now floated around the pack, the treasonous words, only whispered when far out of range of the Alpha. I looked at Cooper and Roland, Roland lowering his eyes slightly before meeting mine again, a dangerous thing, luckily no one paid any mind to it.
