-Saturday-

The week of decorating the ballroom went smoothly it did end up taking about 4 days to be completely ready for the masquerade today. But because we worked faster still being precise of the decor it was perfect. Thankfully James didn't come the remainder of the decorating days giving me space to think.

Having thought about everything for over a week and a half I have come to what I want to do. It took the past week to deep clean the house just to pass the time as I had the whole week off from work.

Since we already had chosen our outfits for the masquerade we weren't in a rush stressing over tonight. The night before we have laid out our masks, jewelry, and dresses along with our shoes. It is now 3:15 p.m. and we are all showered ready to apply our makeup and style our hair.

The girls are in their rooms starting on their hair as they've said it takes them longer so they would like to get it out of the way. While they do that I do my makeup going for a very neutral but alluring look.

As I've finished that I slicked my hair back with product to hold it still but will give the effect that it is wet. Checking the time I see 3 hours have passed alarming me that guests will be arriving in 15 minutes. Checking on the girls I am happy to see that they are both ready wearing their dresses and masks along with their favorite heels.

Not wearing my dress yet I pull on the outfit I had ready to welcome the guests and leave my mask with my dress. Locking my door I leave and wait by the door, as I wait I place an allusion on the house so whom ever walks in will only see a hall leading to the ballroom.

Everything that makes the place a home will not be open to anyone that I didn't leave permission for. Hearing the bell I open the door for the first batch of students along with a couple of chaperones.

Doing this for the passed hour many students and adults have entered the ballroom. Luckily Gavin has finally arrived to take my place for the next half hour as more than half the student body are already here.

Leaving to my room I check my makeup making sure nothing is smudged or in need of reapplying. As everything is fine I take my time wearing my dress along with my mask and my black heels.

Tidying up my room I make sure nothing is out of place, getting out I lock my room along with the office and every other door in the house that isn't the ballroom doors or front door. Checking the time I notice an hour passed and that the masquerade has started.
