Chapter Thirty Five- To The Left!

You and your three companions decided on going to the left, making a quick decision on doing so. The walk continued to a fairly slow pace, luckily the 'herbs' that were shoved in your mouth healed you quickly, and you were walking perfectly fine. Marine was literally bouncing around, hoping on each foot while her eyes roamed to the ever-green trees. It was obvious the girl was a bit reckless and childish, but you put no thought on it, remembering meeting the other little mobians. Tails, Cream, Charmy, Ray, Marine, all sweet kids, and definitely adorable ones at that.

Blaze kept her eyes fixed on a book, which was with her the entire time, while Silver surveyed the forest. Marine bounced over to you,eyes curiously eyeing you. you stared back at the skipping raccoon, questioning her. The raccoon didn't seem to realize the questioning look you gave her, and smiled brightly to you. She stopped skipping and began to walk beside you.

"So Mate! What do you like doing in your spare time?", the young raccoon asked you, sparking up a conversation.

"Besides trying to find an emerald?", you asked back at Marine with a hint of sarcasm, making her laugh loudly. you smiled at her, feeling the friendly aura around you.

"well, i was gonna say no, but why do ye say that? surely, you don't search for emeralds all the time.". Marine said, mostly to herself.

you shook your head at the remark, obviously that wasn't what you do during your spare time, at home. At Mobius, you could say searching for emeralds as a regular thing to do. Marine began mumbling to herself, scratching her head, like the time when you asked the white hedgehog why he was still in the past. You would probably have laughed out, but the problem is you weren't in a good mood. Losing the emeralds made you feel slightly upset. your mind kept wandering back to the missing jewels. you worked so hard for them, all those amazing adventure with the gang. and you earned four! you only needed three more, but with the gems gone, you are back to the very start.

"(Your name)! Hellooo? Earth to (your name)! calling from Marine, are you still in there?", the light brown mobian asked, waving her hand in front of you frantically. you snapped back to reality, turning back to the raccoon and giving her a reassuring smile.

"i'm fine Marine. I'm sorry, i guess i kinda zoned out.", you told her, who smiled and started walking over to bother Blaze, with nose stuck in a book. you walked over to the hedgehog, watching as he stared around in slight amazement. you tapped his shoulder lightly, startling his admiration. he turned his attention to you, when you gave him sly smile.

you and him were both staring down at each other, so you tried coming up with something to say. "Never knew the trees could be that interesting...care to explain?", you piped up. Silver made an embarrassed face, and chuckled a little to himself.

"well. kinda....if you live in a world without these, i guessed you'd be amazed as well.", Silver reasoned. you felt a bit bad after hearing him say that, and mumbled an apology. he shook his head as if it was nothing, waving his arm. "No need for an apology, after all, i do come from the future."

"I still can't believe you come from the future, it just amazing.", you muttered. you were always amazed at the event happening to you during your trip. It started out as a dream, waking up at a middle of a meadow. then you met the cocky hedgehog, as well as meeting the rest of the group.

silver probably heard you, as he waved his arm again, looking quite flustered. "what? nah! its nothing.", Silver said. He continued as he rub the back of his neck, smiling widely.

you laughed at him, and walked next to him silently. you turned around to see Blaze looking irritated by the babbling Marine. you giggled to yourself, but was cut off by a hedgehog gasp. His eyes were widen, as his jaw slightly parted at the sight. you stared at the sight Silver was looking, and couldn't say you were shocked. Right before you and the three, you saw a city. But not just any city, a old looking city.
