The Final Stand

Finale

After a long time of writing this chapter and frustrating hours, this chapter is finally done! This chapter is by far the most difficult chapter I've done. Getting it right was a challenge and a half in of itself and getting it the length it is was even harder. Anyways, after this chapter is released, I will be releasing an epilogue; it will conclude the entire book as a whole. Following will be facts about the book. Including things I didn't intend for the book, what happened, facts about the characters and different things that changed, etc. I will also be typing some information up for what book I plan on doing next following TFS (The Final Stand) along in the fun facts thing, anyways you all enjoy!

Goldie's POV

"If I'm being honest....I expected you all to die to the hands of the Great 12...but then the Titans had to finish them all off...I truly did not expect you all to be able to accomplish such a feat that has NEVER been done before...except when I killed them." The voice said booming over the entire planet's dark starry sky. Everyone looked around as if they were going to see Zoro...I stared up in the sky closing my eyes knowing full well we weren't gonna see him quite yet. "Where are you?!" I heard Holly exclaim. "Me? I'm everywhere..." The voice says, it's voice sounding...strangely non threatening.

"Well show yourself!" Phoenix exclaimed. The voice chuckled, "Now where's the fun in rushing things? We'll fight soon I promise...but this is a once in a multi millenia thing...nothing quite as big as this has happened ever before since I killed off the Supreme Goddess and the Great 12...this is truly a once in a multi lifetime experience." The voice says. "Why are you doing this?! You've already caused mayhem in at least 7 different universes and for what purpose?!" NIghtmare exclaims. The voice chuckles again. "I figured out from everyone you would know the answer to that...Azazel." I looked over at Nightmare to see him in a confused state before his eyes widened. The name rang a bell in my head as a demon name... the god/demon of war. My eyes then widened as I realized what that meant.

Suddenly Nightmare's head snapped to the right as blood rushed down his cheek. HIs eyes were wide as ours were too. He just got hurt from nothing at all. The voice chuckled, "As I said...I'm everywhere...I am everything." The voice says. "The name...rings a bell." Nightmare muttered as if unfazed by the cut on his cheek. "It should be, that was your birth name assigned to you at birth to assign your role in the demon world." The voice said. "I'm not like that though." Night muttered. The voice chuckled again, "Silly...I've seen you in your imperfect demon form...you know it as well as I am that you're a bloodthirsty being. Part of a very strong race and despite being as strong as you are you have yet to unlock your perfect demon form...you were always the weird one out of the bunch being born as a hybrid/demon mix." The voice says.

This caused Nightmare's eyes to widen, "Wait a minute...we've met before...haven't we." Night muttered as the voice chuckled. "Indeed." With that the wind suddenly started picking up pushing against all of us. My feet skidded back on the ground before I dug them into the ground keeping my balance as everyone did the same. "W-What's happening?" I hear Slasher exclaim. Ahead of us on the ground the wind was swirling around in a circle. Suddenly light extruded from the ground as a black figure suddenly appeared in the light, as lightning struck down lightning the ground it touched on fire. The fire spread quicker than normal catching onto a tree before within a second lighting the entire tree on fire.

The light slowly dimmed down, the lightning and wind, and fire coming to a slow stop as the fire revealed itself stepping out of the light. The figure was human...definitely. Jet black hair down to his eyes, pale skin. His eyes were closed, his expression neutral. He wore a T-shirt...a normal red T shirt...and black...shorts...

I blinked a couple of times. I couldn't get a sense of his power at all. Who on earth was this? Everyone else looked confused too, "Uhhh, who's that?" Midnight asks confused. I studied the figure up and down...who was this? I felt no power...whatsoever...yet he appeared out of nowhere. "After all..." The figure says the voice sounds the exact same causing my eyes to widen...the deep gravelly voice. "I know everyone and everything." The figure says.
