Nightmare's POV
I don't know how Greg managed to escape that poison unharmed...but it happened...and now here he was in his Titan form standing tall in the sky. His power was enormous, and I knew that I couldn't take even 3 punches from him...I wouldn't win with brute strength, I needed to use pure strategy, and try a few things in order to have a chance at winning.
Whatever Greg was...he wasn't human. His entire body now was made out of pure energy. Red glowing energy, and fiery red and black aura and a real 2 sided, 2 handed battle axe hanging on his back. He wore red glowing armour over himself and his gloves were made of titanium. In other words this was going to be an absolute heck for me.
I needed to start thinking of a strategy...however it seems I'm going to have to strategize, fight, and analyze at the same time...which will be tough...but with enough concentration is possible. My demon state also gives me an advantage, I have a lot of practice and control with my demon state which I've been practicing without anyone else knowing luckily as I've wanted to keep this secret for the longest time. However even with my demon state and hyper regeneration...each time that hyper regeneration is put into effect a little of my energy is depleted with it and gets worse over time as my body has to do it more and more resulting in tiredness and my body having to exert more energy to repair resulting in more energy consumption per hyper regeneration. So it balances out, otherwise I would be way over powered.
"While you may be in your demon state Nightmare, you still don't stand a chance against a Titans true form." Grey says his voice loud with authority making me shudder. "That might be true, buuuuut it's not all about strength and that's what you fail to see." I say as Grey scoffs. "We'll see about that." Grey says before unsheathing his axe and swinging it downwards towards me. My eyes widen as I quickly dash out of the way the axe slamming into the ground causing the ground to shake roughly as the ground split open from the axe's power alone. Lava shot up out of the ground spreading everywhere as I jumped up in the air floating as lava came flooding under me.
He's fast!" I exclaim in my head as my eyes widen sensing his axe beside me. I turn ready to block it only for the axe to cleanly cut my right arm off. I hissed in pain as a dark red energy exerted out of my arm to my cut off arm bringing it back and reconnecting it back. The pain disappeared as I stretched my arm out.
Not only that...there's a limit to how much my limbs can be reattached...with my energy depleting each time so does the chance that my limb will actually reattach...
Grey retreats his axe holding it beside him laughing loudly. "You see? I'm too fast for you to even see" Grey says as I narrow my eyes. I need to find his weak spot...but where could it be? His eyes? No...then what could it be? I ask myself in my head as Grey goes to swing his axe again. Looks like it's going to be a game of Cat and Mouse until I can figure out a way to fight Grey. I think to myself as I disappear reappearing after the axe swung by.
"Not bad...however I have a trick for people who like to do that." Grey says raising the axe high in the air before slamming it down on the ground as hard as possible. The ground shook violently as more lava spewed from the ground, the ground splitting creating ravines. The vibrations from the axe slamming into the ground caused my entire body to freeze sending my body hurling straight down towards a pool of lava. Crap! I yell in my head as I hold out my hand summoning my axe. When I got close enough I slammed it into the ground, stabilizing it and swinging around it, my feet almost touching the lava before balancing myself on the handle of my axe.
Phew...that was a close one... I say in my head. "That was a smart move right there..what I would expect from a demon...why don't you show your true colors huh?" Grey asks as I grit my teeth. "I think you and I both know that reason" I say as Grey chuckles, "Yeah, It's not like you destroyed an entire solar system one time." Grey says as I freeze. "It's not smart of you to assume things Grey." I say before jumping up in the air taking my axe with.
