The Final Stand

I haven't done one of these in a while. I know i'm breaking the chain of chapters without an announcement. I said I wouldn't' do one if this wasn't important...and this is important. If you're reading this and you've read the last chapter and the ending, you'll have read that I talked about how my chapters were too long. And that's true...completely, positively true. I only realize now, and for the mega chapters before I cut them up into parts...my god. 

And on the topic of mega chapters...those are no longer a thing, they will be acted like normal chapters from now on in events of a major battle.

I've really thought about this. My Golden Freddy X Spring trap books were nowhere near the length of these chapters. This book has taken it to phenomenal lengths...and it's probably why the book is still going on! I'm doing nothing but stretching it all out, every chapter, I'm stretching it out. And I'm making it boring in the process. I've realized that powers and FNaF don't necessarily mix together...and I realize that now, and I'm not going to do it again...at least for few books and IF and that's an IF with 10 I's (IIIIIIIIIIF) I do it again will be nowhere the length of this. But I'm not going to stop this book, I've already done that with one book and I refuse to do it with another. I'm sorry to those who liked that Slasher X Midnight book, but it was also kinda awkward for me since...Slasher is my main OC and...yea... anyways...chapters from now on in this book are going to be shorter.

However it's going to be a transition, I'm going to try to make the next chapter shorter and move faster...because honestly...lets be honest at this rate the book will be like 150 chapters long and lets be honest no one wants that. I royally messed up on this book, and I'm going to fix it as much as I can. From now on, no chapters will be above 5,000 words period. I'm going to try and keep the chapters at around 2,000 words...maybe even shorter if that's what people want. But I don't know what you guys want so its a mystery. I don't promise that the next chapter will be 2,000 words...it's going to take time to get used to, I've spent almost a year doing these types of chapters and it's going to be breaking out of that habit that's going to be hard. Major fighting scenes may be the only exception to that rule. I know I've gotten at least a little better with fighting scenes if I did a chapter with around 8,000 words being nothing but fighting, or I just stretched it out like normal. 

This book was definitely a learning process for me, I never thought it would take this long to do this book and it's my fault for that, but the only thing I can do now is try to fix my mistakes and do better with these chapters and make them more enjoyable. BUT I am NOT doing a redo of this book. N to the O. After this book is done...it's done. I know how I talked about there possibly being a sequel, not anymore. It's not that I don't enjoy it, but this book took me soooo long to do, and after it's done I want to move on and do something else. And it has to do with the first two books i ever did...

And now that that's out of the way...my next book I've begun thinking about. I would prefer it be a boy x boy because for some reason I prefer those. I don't know completely myself to be honest. I've thought about another Golden Freddy X Spring trap because I actually like that, and I may do another one for the next one. Or it'll be something else. I don't know yet. (Probably another Golden Freddy X Spring trap book unless you all  have other ideas.) Some of the characters in this book will not be involved in the next book as I've already decided, they are Slasher, Midnight (HARD Maybe), Nightwing/Leo (Whichever you prefer, Andrew, Holly and more.

Slasher and Nightwing are official brothers so if one isn't in the other isn't in.

Midnight and Slasher are official best friends, Slashers first friend and Midnight's first friend, despite if this book says anything differently. (With the exception of Slasher X Midnight book)

Andrew and Holly were never intended in the book but were eventually added in anyways.

There are so many characters in this book it's a little hard to keep track of, you have Slasher, Midnight, Nightwing, Freddy, Bonnie, Chica, Foxy, Goldie, Spring, Shade, Shallot, Hayley, James, Nick, Lynda, Lily, Puppet, Andrew, Nightmare, Vincent, Afton, Carl (Titan of Death, Carter (Titan of Darkness), and Harold (Titan of Eternal), you also have the brothers and or sister of Freddy, Bonnie, Chica, and Foxy.

Around 30 characters...and you wonder why I'm taking out some of the characters for the next book. That's not even if you count the League of Villains but those haven't really been mentioned so I don't count those. 

Anyways, I'm not doing another announcement for the rest of the book...this is the last one because it was major and everyone needs to know what's going to happen because this changes the book as a whole and how it'll go. Once again, have any questions or concerns tell me either by comments or by DM'ing me either way is fine by me. Any other thing I need to tell you guys will go at the end of a chapter. Unless something major happens in my life which will prohibit me from updating for awhile such as family death or something else.

Anyways hope you guys understand that I need to do this, and I will see you all next week for hopefully a short chapter!
