Hi there! I'd written this chapter and the next together, but it turned out way too long, so I split it. I'm not entirely happy with them, but after approximately five billion rewrites, they just need posting.

Part 1...
9.50am
Becca took a deep breath as she turned off the interstate and started to follow the signs for Burbank Studios.
Okay, here we go.
'You alright?' Viv asked her.
'Yeah, it's just...the closer we get...'
'The more you get...what? Nervous or excited?' Viv asked.
'I honestly don't know - probably a bit of both. But it's like my butterflies have got butterflies.' Becca admitted.
Viv laughed. 'I'm sure it'll be fine.'
'God, I hope so, Viv. Thanks for coming with me.'
'Are you kidding? The chance to go on a real live film set and meet some of the most famous actors in the world? Who's going to say 'no' to that?'
Becca laughed.
I did, multiple times.
'Well, I don't know who's going to be there, so I can't promise the most famous.' She said. 'I was expecting to get a heads up from Chris this morning about all that stuff - I wouldn't have minded knowing myself.'
'Still no word from him, then?'
'No.' Becca sighed.
'You're not worried about that, are you?' Viv asked. 'Because, you know, there's loads of reasons why he might not be able to get in touch.'
'Yeah, I know.' Becca agreed, not sure if she was trying to convince Viv, or herself.
'So, has he sent you any instructions for getting in?'
'No, he just said to go to the main gate at 10.00 - hopefully he'll have sorted out the rest. Or more likely, Zac will have.'
'Zac's his PA, right?'
'Yeah.' Becca said, pulling onto Burbank Drive and turning the corner. 'Right, this is the road.'
'Oh my God!' She breathed, as the studio complex appeared.
'That's a lot of people.' Viv said.
Is it ever!
Before them, hundreds of excited-looking fans were lining both sides of the road behind security barriers.
I wasn't expecting this.
The noise level picked up dramatically as the crowd spotted the car, everyone staring and pushing to get a better view as they drove up.
There were a few excited screams and calls of 'who is it?'
I don't like this.
'Do you think it's always like this?' Becca asked, feeling a little apprehensive.
'They're just checking out who's in the car.' Viv reassured her. 'Once they realise it's only you and me, they'll lose interest.'
I hope so.
In front of her, Becca saw with relief a couple of security guards coming out of the security building and waking over.
Thank you! Just open the gate so I can get out of-
'Look out!' Viv cried, seeing a guy squeeze through the fences and jump right in front of the car.
'Shit!' Becca slammed on the brakes.
For a second she was terrified that the car wasn't going to stop in time, but it skidded to a standstill with inches to spare.
Fuck! I nearly hit him!
She looked at the man, expecting to see her own horror reflected in his face, but he simply planted his palms on the bonnet, stared into the car and met Becca's gaze.
'What the hell?' Viv said, shakily.
One of the guards quickly bundled the guy away and she heard him calmly say 'I just wanted to see who it was.'
Idiot!
The other guard came over to Becca's window. 'Are you okay, miss?'
'Err...yeah...yeah, I think so.' She said, but her heart was still trying to hammer its way out of her chest.
I can't believe he just did that.
'Can I help you?' He prompted a moment later when she hadn't said anything more.
'Oh yeah...sorry.' She said, a bit flustered. 'We're here to visit the set.'
'I'm afraid it's not open to the public.' He said, dropping the friendly tone and looking suddenly serious. 'I'm going to have to ask you to turn around and leave.'
'Oh we're not the public...well, I mean we are, but we've got permission to be here. Our names should be on a list...somewhere.'
Hopefully.
The guard looked at her. 'Wait here, please.' He said, coming back a moment later with a clipboard.
'Which firm is that with, please?' He asked, consulting a list.
'We're not here with a company.' Becca answered. 'We're here as guests of...umm...Chris Evans.'
The guard raised his eyebrows slightly and flipped over a couple of pages.
'Can I have your names please?'
'Becca Smith and Viv James.'
The guard hesitated, and consulted his list again, making Becca's stomach lurch.
Oh God, are we not on the list? Did Chris forget? Or worse, did he change his mind?
'Is there a problem?' Viv asked him.
'I have a Viv James, but I don't have a Becca Smith.' He said, emphasising 'Becca'.
'Umm...it could be down as Becs.' She suggested.
The guard smiled. 'That's right.' And Becca breathed a sigh of relief.
He signalled to the other guard to raise the barrier. 'If you could go through and park in the lot just there,' he pointed to a car park just the other side of the barrier. 'Then we'll issue you with your security passes.'
'Thanks.' Becca said, glad to be driving past the barrier and away from the fans.
