Lady Karissa is a American Citizen but she rose to become an aristocrat by marrying a English descendant Aristocrat from the noble house of Howard that was founded through Sir John Howard and Lady Joan of Cornwall.

Lady Karissa was from English, French, Irish, and Scottish heritage and her people came from  Wessex, England and were simple country people with no titles, but they own land, but they fled England and Scotland on her father's side from Puritan rule and on her mother's side she was French-Irish and her mother's ancestors lived in Rochelle, France and they fled France from France from The Roman Catholic church and their persecution as they French Huguenots.

Elizabeth Stanton remembers what her grandmother told her about the St. Bartholomew Day Massacre in Paris and all throughout France and thousands and thousands of innocent French men, women, and children were slaughters just because they wouldn't become Roman Catholic.

The Stanton left France and The Lowell's left England and Scotland and headed for the New World in 1620 and they suffered greatly but they finally arrived in the new country.

Massachusetts (included Maine)

New Jersey Colony
