"How Long"

I wake up to the noise of my bedroom door opening i sit up and focus my eyes and see a figure walking in my eyes focus even more i make out that it was my father

 "You little bitch you thought you could escape me" he says , i quickly jump out of bed backing myself into a corner "your going to pay for killing your mother" he say as he starts choking me i start to scream "NO PLEASE NO I DIDN'T KILL HER I DIDN'T KILL HER" i scream as i slide down the wall my knees against my chest , my elbows resting on my knees and my hands covering my face

 I feel someone grab my arms and call my name "Jayne , Jayne its ok its not real its not real it's a dream" i hear a familiar voice say i look up and its Finn , i hug him as soon as i see him "I didn't kill her Finn i swear" i mumble "i know you didn't" he says his hand on the back of my head my face in the crook of his neck crying 

Finn put me back in bed i held his hand he wouldn't let go of mine i didn't want him to let go he sat on the chair next to me his hand on the cheek i lay on , his hand was warm , i fell asleep feeling safe with him next to me

I woke up the next morning with Finn asleep on the chair next to me still holding my hand , i sat up and wiped my eyes i took a sip of water , Finn woke up to the sound of the glass being put back down on the bedside table "are you ok" he asks jumping slightly "im ok" i say smiling "why did you stay there last night" i ask slightly confused "i wanted to make sure you were safe" he says "why though" i ask tilting my head to the side "because i care about you" he explains smiling , i couldn't help but smile.

 Tommy knocks on the and calls in "breakfast" he shouts "coming" i shout back i get up put socks on start to walk towards the door Finn was still sitting down "coming Finny" i ask holding the door smiling , he smiled biting his cheek "you know i hate when you call me that" Finn says towering over me my back against the door , i could have kissed him then and there , i wanted to but i don't have the balls so i compromised with myself , my hand reaching up to his face i hold his jawline get up on my tippy toes to whisper in his ear "i know" i say before i walk downstairs he stands there for a moment smiling 

 He follows me down and sits across from me "Tommy what do you want me to do today" i ask before taking a sip of tea "please Jayne , your not my maid anymore Shelby's don't clean they make the mess" he explains "trust me i know" i say smiling Tom and Finn laugh slightly.

"I had the maid put new clothes on your bed" Tommy says after we eat breakfast "thank you" i say smiling "you two should start getting ready we have to meet everyone at the Garrison Jayne has to meet the family" Tommy says "i'll go get ready now" i say standing and walking upstairs 

I start to undress i look in the mirror and notice more bruises on my arms and my ribs "Jayne" i here Finn say through the door i had my bra and shorts on "come in" i say still looking at the bruises running my fingers along my ribs Finn sits on my bed and looks at me i turn around "how long does it take for bruises to heal" i ask him "well for me it has always been around a week or two" when i hear him say the jump on my bed push face in a pillow and groan "hey what's wrong" Finn asks i look up into his eyes "what will people think" i say before he places his hands on my jawline stroking my cheek with his thumb "fuck everyone ok your beautiful and if they can't see that fuck them" he says "you think im beautiful" i ask him , he nods and smiles "now come on we should be getting ready i'll see you downstairs in 20 minutes" Finn say smiling wider than i had ever seen

I get ready and meet Finn in the kitchen he was wearing a suit 'God he looks good' i think to myself "hello handsome" i say as he stands there as he smokes a cigarette , without thinking twice i walk up to him taking the cigarette from his lips and putting it in between mine , he looks at me with desire in his eyes i sit down cross my legs smile at him before Tommy walks in "are you two ready" he asks "yep" i say standing up and leaving the kitchen they both follow behind me

I sit in the back of the car with Charlie as we stopped infront of the Garrison Tommy lifts Charlie out and Finn takes my hand helping me out i start getting nervous before we walk in Tommy walks in and Finn and i follow "is everyone here pol" he asks "yes Tom everyone" she says "everyone this is Jayne she will be joining the family" he says before everyone looks at me "isn't she a bit young for you Tommy" a dark haired irish man asks "im not marrying her Johnny she needed a safe home and i gave her one , if i hear anyone being rude or unmannerly you will have to deal with me understood" Tommy says "now we drink to the newest Shelby member" Tommy shouts "to Jayne" Arthur shouts and everyone repeats it

I sit next to Finn and we talk as everyone else does before a boy sits next to Finn "Jayne this is Isaiah" Finn introduces me to him "well Finn you weren't lying about her beauty" Isaiah says smiling "Isaiah" Finn snaps looking at Isaiah i couldn't help but smile looking down at the chair "what" Isaiah says smiling

 "I'll be back in a moment" i say getting up and going outside i needed fresh air it was smoky and warm in there Finn follows me "hey" he says "hey" i say back "are you alright" he asks "ye its just crowded in there" i say smiling "come with me" he say as he starts to walk i started to follow him

He leads me to a river , he sat down and i sat beside him our legs hang just above the water he looks at me and smiles "what" i ask him "can i kiss you" he asks i was shocked but nodded my head his lips gently touch mine his hands hold my waist and my hands hold his face i pull away leaning my forehead on his we both smile and laugh "you have no idea how long i have wanted to do that" he says smiling
