New start

I woke up in my bed back at Tommy's house i sit up and feel a shooting pain in my shoulder i gasp in pain i get up and go downstairs into the kitchen Tommy , Finn and Arthur are sitting at the table "there she is" Arthur says noticing me first "hey" i say as i pour a glass of Whiskey and sitting down "how are you feeling" Arthur asks smiling "better than ever" i say smirking in a cocky way "how long was i out" i ask "4 days you were in and out of it for awhile " Tommy says "wow" i say "i'll tell everyone your awake we will celebrate tonight" Arthur says as he gets up and leaves "any excuse for a celebration" i say "well your not dead thats something worth celebrating" Tommy states "i guess it is , but right now i need a shower so excuse me" i say as i finish my drink and leave

I get ready and as i put on my perfume i hear a knock on the door "Jayne" i hear Finn say "come in" i say "can we talk" he asks i finally felt ready to speak to him "ok" i say as i nod my head "i am so sorry i will be completely honest i made the bet the day you can and applied for the job and at first it was a joke but i got to know you i realised your perfect and your smart and i meant it when i said i loved you that wasn't a lie" he confesses as he puts his hands on my face i slowly move his hands off my face "Finn im leaving for a little while" i say "what where" he asks "im going to France for a few months" i say "Finn i can't be with you not now im not ready but we can be friends" i say he nods "ok friends" he replies "i have to go" i say before leaving him standing there

I go to work and knock on Tommy's office door "Come in" he says "can i talk to you" i ask him "yes sit please" he says before i go in and close the door "Tom i appreciate everything you have done for me" i say "i have recently been writing to some family i have in France and im going to visit them for awhile i need to get out of here before i lose my sanity Tom" i continue "your sure its safe" he asks "yes i am" i say "when" he asks "tomorrow" i say "then tonight we will celebrate you being alive and i will drive you to the docks tomorrow" he says "ok , Tom" i say "yes" Tommy says "can i write you" i ask him "of course" he says "now go get ready for your party" Tom says smiling

I got into the nicest dress i had and went to the Garrison Tommy walked in with me everyone was there except Finn "tonight we drink to Jayne by the morning tomorrow we won't see Jayne for awhile" Tom explains "what does that mean" Pol asks Tom and I look at each other he nods which just gave me the go ahead to tell them "I will be going to France for a few months" i say smiling "don't tell me your sending her away Tom" Pol asks "no he's not im going to visit family i have over there" i say "well then to Jayne" Arthur says as he raises his glass "to Jayne" everyone else says raising their glasses

The night was fun i danced with Arthur and drank with Pol and Tom , Finn never showed up i was kind of angry about it but i didn't blame him

I woke up the next morning got ready and left Tom took my bags to the car for me before i boarded the ship Tom stopped me "here" he says handing me a chunk of cash "i can't take this Tom" i say "yes you can and you will , look at me" he says take my face in his hands "if anything goes wrong you can come back don't hesitate to come back understand" he says "i understand" i say before i hug him "thank you for everything Tom" i say as he tightens the hug "i won't lie to you , im going to miss you kid" he says "im going to miss you to Tom" i say as i let go "i should go" i say as i pick my bags up he lights a smoke as he watches me leave
