Finn's POV

Jayne has been acting different , of course she was , she lost her husband the man she loved , but she talks to me , and on several occasions cried herself asleep in my arms , she was usually drunk it was the only time she would open up other than that she wouldn't , i'm not stupid i know she pretends im him , but if it makes her feel better than i don't mind. 

After a family meeting i went looking for her i went up to her room she had fell asleep in her bed i sit next to her and touch her hand despite seeming cold , her body was always warm she had the softest touch she looked so peaceful as she slept

I waited for her to wake downstairs she finally came down "hello darling" i say as she comes in to the kitchen "hi" she says dryly "whats wrong" i ask her "nothing" she says forcing a smile "Jayne come on talk to me" i say "there's nothing to talk about" she says "oh my god Jayne just stop please" i say as i stand up "stop what" she asks "stop acting like you don't need anyone like you don't need to talk" i say running my hands through my hair "SORRY FINN IF I ACT LIKE I DON'T NEED ANYONE BUT THE MAJORITY OF MY LIFE I HAD TO DEFEND FOR MYSELF I ONLY HAD MYSELF SO I AM SORRY I CAN'T OPEN UP TO YOU CAUSE TO BE QUITE HONEST I DON'T THINK YOU WANT TO HEAR IT" she shouts "i do want to hear it because i love you more than anything else , you mean everything to me i need to know your ok" i say she stayed silent for a moment before she hugged me "i'm a mess Finn" she admits "no your just a little lost" i say as i hold her

After that her and I spoke for hours about how she was feeling she let me in now i can help her whether she wants it or not.

Jaynes POV

I let Finn in and the worst part was the way he looked at me after he pitied me he only had good intentions but i didn't like to be pitied ever 

After we spoke i just wanted to go home for the first time in weeks , i was tired and needed a shower Finn drove as i looked out the window i had decided from now on i was going to try be happy not for me but for Finn he cared so much and i can't drive him away i need him and i hated to admit it but i do i think i always will 

He opened the door allowing me in first "Finn thank you , for everything" i say before he closes the door "i would do anything for you" Finn says as he hugs me "don't ever forget that , okay" he says as he places his hands on my face he smiles 

It was late when we got back Finn left shortly after and i got my shower i got dressed and got into bed

The next morning Finn came over before work and had breakfast with me before we left for work

As we walked to work , girls stared as we walked past them i didn't understand why Finn began to giggle "what" i ask him smiling "the girls here are jealous that your with the most charming young man in Birmingham" he says with cocky smile "oh shut it you , self praise is no praise " i say sarcastically laughing , we walk into the betting shop and i go straight to Tommy's office "hey Tom , i just wanted to apologize for missing the family meeting yesterday" i say as he sits there with a smoke in his mouth "don't worry about it Jayne" he says and he puts his cigarette out "okay" i say before i leave and sit at  my desk and start work 

I felt good today maybe it was because i spoke to Finn it felt like a weight off my shoulders .

I worked late that night i told Tom i would lock up i was the only one left in the shop i grew tired and decided to leave as i lock the door some grabs my shoulders , i turn around and punched them in the face "ouch" i hear Finn say "oh my fucking god you idiot" i say slapping his arm "sorry" he said smiling holding his nose "you scared me" i say holding my handing over my fast beating heart "i was going to ask you if you wanted to get a drink" he asks "i'm tired , i was just going to go home" i told him "oh okay" he says with a disappointment look on his face "but sure how about just one" i say , he began to smile "come on" he said 

After a lot more than 1 drink we ended up back at my house , i asked Finn to stay , not in the same bed , i just didn't want him walking back alone , i was late , it was better off if he just stayed

"Let him in" Oliver said as he sat on swings under a weeping willow tree "what" i ask confused "Finn , he loves you and i know you love him , i want you to be happy" Oliver said smiling "no i love you" i exclaim "i know but im gone and you need someone like him , as much as i hate to admit it he loves you more than i do , possibly even more" Oliver told me "gone , your right here" i question "not forever Jayne" he said 

Before i wake up , i realize i was dreaming "Jayne i was wondering if you wanted to go out and get breakfast" Finn asked through the door "yeah just give me like 20 minutes" i say
