A new dream

Bondita's POV

We sat in the car and patibabu started driving.Today I was very excited because today in our school our headmaster praised me as I was the first girl to be admitted in the school.But I was disapppinted as well because one of my classmates insulted the women.

Flashback

I was thinking how today in the assembly our headmaster praised me and he also gifted me a book.I was so excited to share this news with my patibabu.But as I was entering in my classroom,I slipped and fell down.I was confused.Suddenly I heard Jeet laughing along with his gang and they were cracking jokes on me.

Then Neel came and helped me to get up.

I said in frustration,"Main yaha par gir gayi thi aur tum log has rahe ho."

Jeet said with a sarcastic smile,"Tum gir nahi gayi thi balki humne tumhe giraya tha kyunki ladkiyon ka sthan niche hi hota hain."

"Kisne kaha tumse yeh sab?"

"Arey iss samaj ke har log to yahi kehte hain.Aur yeh sach bhi hain."He said being irritated by my question.

"Acha.To aisa konse kitab mein likha hua hain?"I asked being furious.

"Arey har chiz kitab mein thodi na likha hota hain."He said nonchalantly.

"To jo chiz kitab mein likha nahi hota hain woh chiz galat hota hain."I said.

"Ladkiyon ko itna zubaan nahi ladana chahiye."He said being irritated.

"Ladkiyon ko kya karna chahiye aur kya nahi karna chahiye yeh ab main tumse sikhu?Mere patibabu kehte hain ki agar hum kuch galat nahi kar rahe,sab kuch sahi kar rahe hain to hume darna nahi chahiye,kisi ki bhi baat sunni nahi chahiye."I uttered remembering patibabu's words.

"Tumhare patibabu to krantikari hain.Hain na?Ab krantikari to kranti lane ke liye yeh sab kahega hi na."He uttered.

He too said,"Aur waise bhi tum jaise ladkiyan to purusho ke haath dhul hote ho.Ek phok mara aur ud gaya."He laughed hard and said,"Aurton ka sthan to aadmiyon ke paero ke niche hote hain.Jab chahe masal sakte hain hum.Aurtein to buddhihin hote hain.Ghar ki bahurani aur pati ki naukrani banna to aurat jat ka parampara hain.Khud dard sehena aur pati ka dard kam karna hi to aurat jaat ko sobha deta hain."All the boys laughed hard.

"Chup!Aur ek shabd bhi nahi sunungi main aurton ke virudh."I screamed being furious.

I wonder who taught them these things.

"Arey aurat ho to baate to sunni padegi hi naa.Waise bhi mere baba kehte hain ki aurton ko aadat dal leni chahiye baate sunne ki."Said one of the boys.

I was going to reply him but suddenly Neel stopped me.

Neel's POV

She was getting furious and his words were getting on her nerves.She tried to control herself a lot.

"Arey aurat ho to baate to sunni padegi hi naa.Waise bhi mere baba kehte hain ki aurton ko aadat dal leni chahiye baate sunne ki."Said one of the boys making her more furious.

She was going to give a good reply but I stopped her.I did not want to stop her rather I too wanted to teach the boys a lesson.But this was school not our home.We need to maintain discipline.If she starts her tark once she is not going to stop.So I had to stop her.

"Please Bondita maat jayo.Yeh school hain aur agar shikshak aa gaye na to woh hume suspend kar denge aur humare parivaar ko bhi bata denge."I pleaded.

But she being stubborn said,"Agar woh log galat hain to unhe sahi karna meri zimmedari hain.Aur agar shikshak ko aana hain to aane do na.Agar unhe mujhe vidyalay se bahar nikalna hain to mujhe koyi pareshani nahi hain par mere aankho ke samne koyi aurton ka aapman kare yeh main nahi dekh sakta."
