Chapter Fifty-Seven 💰 Perishable 💰
Azalea, Scott, Stefan, Lydia, Derek and Parrish all stood in the loft after Parrish was apparently set on fire and survived. "He covered you in gasoline?" Derek asked as he looked at Parrish's hands with a conflicted look, "It's the hair and nails, isn't it? The parts of the body that are essentially dead." Azalea said looking over shoulder her brother's shoulder.
"They should be gone." Stefan said and Parrish looked at him crazy, "I was set on fire! All of me should be gone." Parrish said. "Not if you're like us." Scott said making Parrish look at him confused, "Like you?" He asked. "I don't think he's like us." Derek said shaking his head and Azalea raised her eyebrows, "Then what is he? Cause I know he's not like me." She said looking over at Derek who shrugged and shook his heads.
"Sorry, but I have no idea."
"But you knew about Jackson and Kira." Scott said and Derek sighed, "This is a little out of my experience." He said and Stefan looked over at Scott. "There might be something in the bestiary- did you try Argent?" He aaked and Scott sighed and shook his head, "I don't know where he is."
