Takemichi and Chifuyu sat on the stools at the bathhouse, washing their heads as they talked.

'But how did Mikey become like that?' Takemichi said, mostly to himself,' Because I wasn't here? Can someone change that much in twelve years?'

'Mhmmm...his heart must have sunk into darkness after (y/n)-chan died,' Chifuyu said, remembering you a few hours ago as you walked together. Who would have known that in four years you would be dead?

'In darkness? No. (y/n)-senpai's death was what made him begin killing, but he was already in darkness before that.'

'I don't know. Do we really have the chance to change anything?' 

'A chance...Kisaki?'

'Huh?'

'The weirdest this time. It's Kisaki who had been expelled from Toman.'

'That means Mikey needs Kisaki?' Chifuyu quickly turned the idea down,' Impossible. That's filthy.'

'But...the futures before this, Kisaki was behind all the darkness, wasn't it? The fact that Kisaki left Toman...this might be one of the reasons that changed Mikey.'

Chifuyu slowly turned the shower head off as he thought.

'...Kisaki must know something about it.'

They stood up, wrapping their towels around themselves, and Chifuyu turned to Takemichi.

'You told me about how everyone died. Everyone except (y/n)-chan. How and when did she die, Takemicchi?'

There was silence as they continued walking, and Takemichi could feel Chifuyu's eyes on him as they did.

'...she was beaten and assaulted,' he looked away,' Today, I think. She and Mikey were supposed to meet up, but when he found her, she was already dead.'

'Oh.' Chifuyu sat down as he pulled his pants on,' It must have been for their anniversary.'

'What'dya mean?'

'For their,' Chifuyu counted with his hands,' Six year anniversary. They started dating today, (y/n)-chan was on her way to meet Mikey when we met up.'

'That makes it even sadder,' Takemichi replied, not sure how he was supposed to react to news like that. ' I wonder if they're having a great time right now...'
