My heart pounded as I walked back to the lunch hall. I'd decided from yesterday that it would just hurt more to grow closer to Minho only to have my heart broken afterwards. But pushing him away like this didn't make me feel better. It made me want to run after him and yell that I loved him.
I held the bills he had given me earlier in my pocket tightly. I planned to give them back to him because whatever I was, I definitely wasn't also a beggar. Felix, Hyunjin and Jeongin gave me questioning looks as I sat back down at the table, but I just shook my head and didn't speak, because I knew that as I'd open my mouth, I'd say the whole story and start crying too. I couldn't risk that.

"The physical formula of the component has to calculate by hand to get accurate-"
I sighed out in frustration and snapped my book closed. The look on Minho's face when I had lied about liking someone else was really torturing me - did it mean that he liked me too? Or was he just playing around with me and didn't like that I was playing back?I played with the pages of my book, not concentrating on my phone buzzing until it fell off the table from vibrating. I jumped and picked it up. "Who is it?" I answered into the unknown number, wondering why I had my phone on vibrate at all.
"Jisung? Is that you?"
"Yeah - I'm sorry, but who is this?"
"It's Chris Bang from your class. I got your phone number from your friend, Jeongin."
I was surprised. "Why are you calling me?" Out of everyone in their little group, I had always thought Chris to be the most decent.
"It's Minho, he's being weird. He drunk a lot and now he won't leave the bar, and he keeps saying your name. Could you come over to see if you could get him to go home or something?"
I didn't say anything.
"Of course, it's no pressure," he said.
"No, it's fine, I'm coming, which bar are you guys at?" I said although I was regretting the words as they left my mouth.
"We're at Ilsan bar. I'll send you the location if you need it."
Twenty minutes later I was standing in front of the Ilsan bar, having told my mother I was going to Jeongin's house. I pushed the door open and went inside. I'd never been inside a bar before.
The inside was warm and the lights were low, the smell of drink really strong. I spotted Chris and Seungmin in a corner with Minho, his head on the table. "Jisung! There you are. I'm, uh, gonna go home with Seungmin, are you OK with being left to take care of Minho?" said Chris.
I looked at him reluctantly. "Where's Changbin?" I said.
"He doesn't really drink. Well, if that's alright I'll leave you to it then, bye Jisung!" He and Seungmin quickly left.I walked over to Minho. My heart leapt to see his sleeping face; he looked so soft and beautiful, I just wanted to look at his face forever. Nothing like the hard and arrogant boy I thought was his real personality.
I gently brushed his hair away from his forehead and just then he opened his eyes. "Jisung?" he said. "What are you doing here?" His cheeks were really pink and he looked totally wasted.
"Chris hyung said you kept saying my name so I came here to see if you were OK." He frowned.
"I didn't say your name," said Minho, his eyes drifting closed again.
"Wha-? But Chris definitely said-" I groaned in frustration. "I should have known he was lying. There was no way you'd be saying my name."
I started to walk away, annoyed, when suddenly, Minho grabbed my wrist and pulled me onto him so I was sitting in his lap. "Don't go," he murmured in a voice that made my insides melt. I tried to wriggle away but even drunk his grip was stronger than glue. My face grew heated from thinking of how we must look, sitting in the bar like that.
