Violetshine stared at Sleekwhisker, unable to meet Twigpaw's gaze. Sleekwhisker's emerald eyes were gleaming with mischief. "So, Violetshine. Are you going to tell her, or do I have to?"
When Violetshine didn't reply, Sleekwhisker smirked. "Darktail and Violetshine are mates." Violetshine snuck a glance at the silver apprentice. Her eyes were wide with shock. "Twigpaw.." She started, but her sister clearly didn't want to hear what she had to say. Twigpaw lashed her tail. "How could you do this, Violetshine? Why- why Darktail?"
Bristling with rage, Twigpaw stormed away, heading in the direction of ThunderClan. Violetshine turned around, and all she saw was Sleekwhisker's green eyes fading in the shadows.
Violetshine stood there, mouth dry and all she could do was sit down and think about what had happened.
She had to fix this.
