Chapter 26

Elixir's POV

"Ugh!" I groaned and rubbed my already swelled stomach. That's it, just rub it like how the doctor has said. My little one is being very naughty using my internal organs as his personal cushion. Elf children really does grow fast, specially this one. I already looked like I have swallowed a whole watermelon and I am still on the beginning of my third cycle. "Please, sweet love, don't roll around there too much, mommy loves it when you move but don't kick my bladder okay?" I said and continued rubbing as I felt a rather strong kick on my left. I will kill Kymil for getting me pregnant—his kid is literally a giant.

"Whoa, that's..." Dalian looked at me while holding his baby boy Feldspar. "...your kid is really something. I know you're hormonal but sweetheart you're really big for someone still in his third cycle—I'm not meaning it in a bad way." He said with worry.

"I don't know Dalian, sometimes I'm worried I actually swallowed a melon instead of this kid that stretches his body—ow! Just like this." I sucked a deep breath in when my lover's kid decided to play football inside me and stretched making both my sides move at the same time. I don't even want to know how cramped my little elf is feeling inside my womb or how he managed to be sideways.

"Holy—Eli." Dalian said and placed Feldspar in his rocker seeing that he is finally asleep. "Eli, we need to see a healer, I know this much that babies don't move that way."

"Don't be silly, Dalian. It's normal. He's just very energetic."

"My Feldspar is quite energetic but that doesn't happen to me Eli. It's as if there's a party happening there." He said and rubbed my stomach making me sigh in relief. Mom said it's normal for me to feel this way since I am a male carrying a baby. My organs actually got moved around to accommodate for the growing baby—somehow, rubbing it numbs my nerves in the stomach and surprise, it actually helps.

"What if it's a twin?" Dalian said with a gasp.

"Now that's impossible." I deadpanned and rolled my eyes with a laugh but Dalian just looked at me seriously making my heart skip a beat. "That's not possible Dalian, we both know twins are just in the myth—you know like Synsillian and Sadrymian, both dragons and mind you doesn't exist anymore."

"You are right." He said and bit his lip—thank God he's giving up. It's impossible anyway. No one has seen or heard about a twin before and me having one? Big joke. "But Elixir, think about it. I don't usually believe in stuff like this but I think, you're carrying twins."

"Don't scare me Dal, you know I am emotional. You just said it yourself." I said with my heart skipping a bit. It's a 'what if' but I am seriously scared. I don't know what I would do if that happened—heck I can't imagine it happening. Not like this. Especially when I still haven't told Kymil what's happening with me.

"I have a friend." Dalian started and I looked at him expectantly, giving my round stomach a rub. "He's blind but he can look inside you and project the image he sees directly to your mind."

"A seer?" I asked.

"Not quite." Dal gave his baby's rocker a shake to let Feldspar sleep comfortably. "I can call him here."

"Kymil wouldn't like this." I sighed and worriedly paced inside the house.

"You still haven't told him?"

"No." I quickly stood my stand and faced him. "I can't distract him. He's in war, Dalian—in danger and if I tell him about my pregnancy, he could get distracted—worse get himself killed."
